Hello! My name is Madeline/Maddy and I am a DONA International trained birth doula! I just finished my training and am currently working towards certification. I am also working towards obtaining my CLC and am a part of Lauren Scarbrough’s doula mentorship program through Sparrow Song Birth Services. As your birth doula, my primary goal is to provide unwavering support that empowers you to attain your birth aspirations and wishes, fostering a safe and healthy environment for both parents and baby.

Birth & Postpartum Doula packages and pricing

Birth Doula

This package includes 2 prenatal visits, birth attendance, and 3 hours of postpartum support. The prenatal visits are about 60-90 minutes and aim to prep the parents for birth. Preferably, the first prenatal visit will be within 25-27 weeks of pregnancy, and the second visit will be between 35-37 weeks of pregnancy. Birth attendance: I will join you once active labor has started and you have decided it’s time for doula support. I will always try my best to get to you within 1 hour of notice! For postpartum support, I offer up to 3 hours that can be split into 2 visits if needed. Postpartum visits ideally happen within 1-3 weeks post birth. If you have chosen me as your birth doula, I will send over a letter of agreement and will hold your due date for 1 week until it opens up to other families.

What to expect

Birth doula services encompass a range of comprehensive support and guidance for expectant parents during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. I will offer unconditional emotional and physical support, providing comfort measures, relaxation techniques, and pain management strategies during labor. I will also serve as a source of information, offering evidence-based knowledge and helping parents make informed decisions about their birth plan. I will act as your advocate, ensuring that the mother's preferences and needs are respected by healthcare providers. Additionally, I offer postpartum assistance, including breastfeeding support, newborn care education, and emotional well-being guidance.
