About me

I am a mom to two beautiful children, an acupuncturist, childbirth educator and doula specializing in holistic reproductive wellness and non-pharmacological pain management. I support families in Palm Beach and Broward County, FL in person and virtually, everywhere else. Women's reproductive health has always being my area of interest and one I deeply enjoy. Four years ago, I became pregnant and my interest became a meaningful passion after I experienced an ecstatic vaginal and unmedicated birth to our first baby. This remarkable experience of birthing with my baby and body in such a comfortable and deeply spiritual way, shook me to my chore. It was a short 3hr birth with no complications, pain and a smooth transition into being a mother of a loved and healthy boy. I was so inspired to share what I learned through the process of preparation because through my personal and clinical experience, I knew this was NOT as common as I know it can be. My eyes were so open to the "why" and how to contribute in improving maternal care knowing its huge impact not only in maternal satisfaction, setting the tone for maternal and family mental health postpartum but in short and long term health outcomes for mother, baby and even partner. Throughout my own pregnancy, as I was deepening my understanding of how slow maternal care has evolved over the years, and how far from integrated the evidence and clinical practices still are; I could not believe how many women's stories of birth trauma could have been avoided (my mother's with me included). Having the access and guidance to integrate tools that are key in elevating maternal care is transforming the way women give birth today and supporting them to rediscover their ability to birth and mother with ease. In practice, I combine my Eastern medical education (Acupuncture) and structural integration with tools such as the original HypnoBirthing® Childbirth Mongan Method, doula support, and guided meditation practices. It is fascinating to see the evidence that continues to become available every day on neuroscience, pain management, physiologic birth, and early childhood development that continue to inform policy and access to the next level of maternal care in our times. I love witnessing parents become aware of the evidence, excited to support their bodies, eager to train their minds for birth and family life, and willing to implement more meaningful ways to connect to each other and their growing baby.
