Service introduction

Get parenting support when you and your child need it the most! Let's face it, the first three years are a time that are the most difficult for parents AND they are the most important for children. As a parent coach, I work with families from before brith through six to understand the development their child is trying to do and help them learn how to parent to potential right from the start. When we bring the child's development into view, it drastically changes our parenting decisions - from nursery to baby gear, starting solids to sleep. Before birth, I work with families around developmentally-centered and practical baby gear and nursery design (stuff that works and doesn't hinder your child's development). And after birth, I coach parents through establishing daily routines, sleep, playtime, toys, starting solids, toilet learning, language development, bilingualism, and more!

These 1:1 consults continue to help our family thrive/cope/enjoy/navigate the early years with our two sons. Mariana gives structure and expertise to all of our parenting hopes and wishes. Our little family is set up for success, and we couldn't be more appreciative! Our biggest takeaways have included how to build up practical activities in your home, how to frame your conversations with your child in a way that is developmentally appropriate, and how to balance affording our children autonomy while also ensuring that all their needs are met. Mariana and her varied supports are, without a doubt, the best parenting resource I've found in my 3+ years of parenthood.

Mariana has been such a steady and supportive thought partner during our early parenting journey. We participated in her prenatal and home visit program and benefited tremendously from her expertise, clarity and calm during a significant time of transition. She was open to our questions and concerns without exacerbating our anxiety. During the pandemic we reengaged her as a coach to help us navigate some tricky moments and always appreciated her candor and explanations. Her reassurance built our confidence as new parents and the lessons we learned continue to guide us as we parent a toddler. We would recommend Marianna’s work to anyone who is curious about child development and is excited to grow young, independent and thoughtful children.

Working with Mariana is such a joy, and brings so much additional positivity to parenting! Instead of hashing the same issues with my friends who are struggling with the same things, I feel like when I consult Mariana, I come out of the conversation with clear strategies that work and that help me understand my child better. I've recommended her to countless friends! She's the best! Work with her - you won't regret it!

Mariana has been such a help to me and my family. We met her three years ago, when my first was born, and she gave us such helpful, no nonsense, and educated advice about development, sleep, eating, and more. I came back to her when I had my second, as she is a wealth of knowledge. While her guidance is Montessori-based, I would recommend her to everyone, even if Montessori is not something you are looking for. I truly believe she can offer helpful advice and support to anyone with young children.

Mariana has been a blessing for me and my husband. We are first time parents and she has helped give us advice since our 15 month old daughter was 6 months old. Everything Mariana has recommended has helped us improve our interactions with our daughter. She is a wealth of knowledge for early childhood development!

Mariana has helped us a lot, not just as a support along our parenting journey (which she has been), but as the first person who introduced us to the Montessori philosophy. The Montessori-inspired techniques that Mariana has broken down and made user-friendly for us, particularly around potty learning, sleep, and eating have really made tons of sense and helped our son become the self-regulated, independent three year old that he is today. Something else I appreciate about Mariana is that she seems to get that everyone is coming from a different place as a parent and that not all her ideas or suggestions are going to work for us; she comes across as really nonjudgmental. And she has just worked with some many children families that she never seems daunted or surprised by the questions and challenges I bring her.
