I plan to give birth at Virtua in Voorhees, NJ. I don’t have a complete birth plan yet but I would like pain management, delayed cord clamping, and possibly waiting to give the baby a bath until i’m home.

Will be my 4th birth. 1st was c-section due to breech. 2nd was a medicated VBAC (epidural). 3rd was an unmedicated all natural hospital VBAC. Hello, My name is Liana. I have gestational diabetes and am currently on insulin. Me and my husband plan on having the baby at the hospital-vaginally if possible. My health insurance-Horizon NJ health- told me about new doula services they provide (I'm not really sure how it works or how to sign up). I have 2 kids-an 8 year old and a 2 year old I care for. I worry that as I get further along my pregnancy going grocery shopping, attending 2-3 appointments weekly, and other physical activities all with my 2 year old would start emotionally and physically draining me. My husband helps me in the morning when he can but leaves early afternoon for work.

I plan to have a hospital birth, iv heard that this services can be covered by my health insurance I have a low income. I plan to have an epidural during labor I would like avoid unnecessary things such as patocine during labor sense iv learned that this is bad for the baby during labor if I don’t need it. I want to trust my own body to do the labor/ delivery process, I would like to be more educated and confident during my labor and have someone to advocate for me. I would like to use natural alternatives to help smoother labor experience.

I plan to give birth in a hospital. I would like a doula to educate me on best practices during labor and birth as well as be there to advocate for me during the birthing process. As of right now I believe that I would not like the cord clamped until it is white and no longer pulsing and also that I do not want to give birth lying on my back. Budget is $1500.
