I worked with Marquiesa as our birth doula and it was the very best investment in my mental and physical health to support me during my birth and most importantly during my postpartum recovery. She deeply listens to understand and I never felt any sense of agenda, bias, or judgment on her part. From the very first meet and greet, she was invested in my input, preferences, and well-being. She is knowledgeable and practical - which has her always organized, professional, and reliable. These qualities combined with an approachable, humorous, and authentic personality made even the tougher moments of childbirth more manageable. I thought the hard part would be over after birth, but postpartum came with so many challenges , I don't know what I would've done without her support and knowledge . Marquiesa helped me navigate breast feeding , provided guidance for nourishing meals that boosted my supply , showed me the essentials like sanitizing bottles and helped me keep up with the daily tasks of a newborn so i wasn't so overwhelmed . I felt like with her as my doula i was taken care of both mentally and physically and i would recommend her for any doula needs. As some one who suffered from post partum depression i can't say enough about how much she helped me through my motherhood journey.

I had the pleasure of working with Marquiesa Walker during a session with a breastfeeding mom, and I was so impressed by her calm, knowledgeable, and nurturing presence. She offered thoughtful advice and explained everything in a way that made the mom feel confident and supported. What stood out most was how she involved the whole family (Mom, Dad, and Grandma) creating such a comforting and inclusive environment. Truly a natural at what she does!
