My name is Maura Ambrose, and I am a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in speech, language and feeding disorders in early childhood. I am fellowship-trained in Cleft/Craniofacial Speech Pathology, certified in Neonatal Touch and Massage and have a decade of experience working with children and families. I offer in-home services to provide flexibility for parents and familiarity and comfort for the children I serve. I service both eastern OH in the Youngstown area, as well as southwestern PA in the Pittsburgh area. I am in the process of completing my certification to become a Certified Lactation Counselor so that I can better serve the mothers who breastfeed their infant.

I provide specialized care for infants and young children with speech, language and feeding related disorders. I work with the entire family to develop care plans that serve the unique needs of the child while fitting into a family's schedule, skill set and priorities. My goal is to empower families so that they have the skills to nurture independence in their children, so that they become resilient in the face of challenges throughout their lives. I started my company in 2022 in response to the growing need I saw in my community for providers who were honest, transparent and truly met families where they were. I am able to be fully present with all of my patients, and have the flexibility to change therapy plans, therapy locations and therapy schedules as needed. I have extensive experience working with young children, children with complex medical histories including airway and gastric issues for example, as well as children with congenital diagnoses such as cleft lip/palate. I am in the process of obtaining my certification to become a Lactation Counselor so that I can better serve families who breastfeed their children.
