Service introduction

I am a labor and postpartum doula, as well as a newborn specialist and nanny. As a doula, I provide non medical support, the support in labor being physical and emotional, the support in postpartum being emotional and informational. A birth doula helps you stick with the birth plan you desire, provides many comfort measures, and helps ensure that every intervention that may be performed is done so with your support informed consent. We are with you continuously and without breaks (unless you request one) throughout a labor, no matter how long. A postpartum doula cares for the infant as well as the birthing parent and helps the household run smoothly in those beginning weeks.

Packages

Birth Doula Package

I will attend two prenatals with you, attend the labor as soon as you feel you need me until two hours after birth, and will do a follow up visit in the days following birth. This package is good for hospital births (including planned caesareans), birth centers, and home births. Please contact me if you need to use my sliding scale services because of financial difficulties. Everyone deserves a doula if they want one and I will find a way to make it work.

Postpartum Doula Package

I will meet with you once before your birth and as soon as you need my services after birth, I will come to your house and provide support for your whole family (the birthing person and newborn are my main focus, but I nurture everyone in the family) for the predetermined hours for at least one week or up to 4 months if needed. I provide a wealth of information in newborn care and breastfeeding (I will support any form of baby feeding, of course), can preform standard household organization tasks, set up meals for your family, and tend to older children when needed. Please contact me for the use of a sliding scale if needed due to financial difficulties. I will find a way to work for you because I feel as if every family who wants a doula should have one.
