I’m Sara Vidal, a certified birth doula located in Carroll County, Maryland. As a child, I was fascinated by mom’s positive stories of her varied birth experiences. Later, during my first pregnancy, I learned to access my inner calm and strength through the journey of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. After teaching for nearly a decade, I felt called to combine my academic expertise with my passion for birth by completing my doula certification through HypnoActive Birth created by Lauralyn Curtis Kohl. I’m also continuing my education, currently working toward my childbirth educator certification. Hello, my name is Nashare and I am the owner of That Community Helper. I am trained as birth and postpartum doula, but currently focusing on postpartum clients. I graduated college with a degree in Early Childhood Education and it made me realize that the best foundation for a good early childhood is through the mother/parents. I believe that parents have lost the support through the entire perinatal phase and it is my desire and goal to make sure the parents build confidence in themselves. After serving my community for several years as a community doula, trainer & facilitator I transitions into postpartum care. In 2019 I received my newborn care specialist training from NCTA, & in 2025 I certified as a postpartum doula also with NCTA. I am also fully vaccinated, infant First Aid & CPR certified and NRP certified. I completed Phase 1 of my midwifery program but am on sabbatical from the program at this time. Becky has broad birth experience supporting mothers and families through high risk and special needs such as VBAC’s (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean) and those with anxiety, trauma and other perinatal disorders; unmedicated and natural labors, home births, pain managed, and cesarean section births. She is a licensed nurse, trained doula and fertility coach, and board certified lactation consultant. She is a self proclaimed "book worm", and constantly is found reading books or listening to podcasts that challenge her to dig deeper and learn more. This has opened doors for her in the arenas of public speaking, advocacy, and business coaching. Tiara values her life experiences and uses them as reference points to better serve her clients. As a mother of five children, her "on the job" experience has allowed her to meet her clients where they are, and give them a honest and transparent perspective of what to expect.
