About me

I first found Hypnobabies Childbirth Hypnosis when I was pregnant with my first baby and working as a bedside nurse in a busy hospital postpartum unit. I knew my body was meant to give birth, but I felt the negativity and fear of those around me was preventing me from enjoying this transformative time in my life. Hypnobabies Childbirth Hypnosis gave me back my joy and even more. It gave me a confidence and excitement about birth that I didn't even know was possible. I went on to become a board certified lactation consultant and certified maternal newborn nurse and also attended many births as an L&D nurse. 11 years and 2 Hypnobabies of my own later, I am so happy to share this complete childbirth education class with my community and bring joy and love into the lives of birthing families.

Hypnobabies is a complete childbirth education course that also teaches medical-grade, somnambulistic hypnosis techniques to re-train the inner mind in a very positive way, which helps to lessen discomfort and fear from the birthing experience. With adequate preparation, and in the absence of complications, our Hypno-students can experience easier and more comfortable births. I offer both in person, online, group and individual classes. The Beautiful Breastfeeding Class is based on the experience and research of Dr. Robyn Thompson, a midwife with 50 years of experience attending births and being with and beside women as they feed their babies. It is gentle and evidence based (Dr Robyn's phd is in nipple trauma), with personalized guidance by me, a certified Thompson Method educator in a group class setting. You get access to all of the Thompson Method online educational videos, lifetime support in the Breastfeeding club, and "Ask a Midwife" zoom calls.
