I am at week 22 in my twin pregnancy. My insurance said they would cover doula services. They referred me to Everyday Miracle which is based in Minneapolis, MN. However, Everyday Miracle does not offer services for patients in Moorhead, MN. I would be delivering at Sanford Family Center in Fargo, ND. I am hoping to find a Doula who accepts Medicaid/Bluecross Blueshield. If not, I am open to browsing rates for services. Although, my twin pregnancy automatically deems me as a 'high risk' pregnancy I believe a Doula would be able to help me advocate and prevent unnecessary interventions. Thank you!

I need help advocating in the hospital when I give birth. I had a very traumatic first birth and need someone with me to have my back. My partner is very loving and supportive but this is not his strong suit. I am having a planned c section and I am not planning on breastfeeding. I suffer from a lot of mental health issues which I am being treated for but last time I had severe PPD and PPA so I would also like some postpartum support. I do not have a budget and I was going to look into if my insurance would cover services.

I want to be able to listen to my body as opposed to pushing/etc only when I’m told to do so. I do not want to give birth on my back, and would like to be able to move as much as possible. I would like optimal cord clamping, and as much skin to skin as possible immediately after baby is born.

Hello, I am currently very early in my second pregnancy. (7 weeks) First pregnancy was smooth but labor ended in a cesarean. I am looking for a doula to assist in me hopefully having a successful TOLAC/VBAC. If you are willing to assist me or can point me in the best direction I would appreciate that. I haven’t spoken to my doctor yet as my first ultrasound is next week, but reaching out and finding a support system early on is very important to me this round. Hope to hear from you.
