Planning on giving birth at home. Not sure any other details. This is my 4th pregnancy I had my other 3 in the hospital.

I have ptsd when it comes to pain. I cant even stay calm for a shot in the arm. Can't get my blood drawn without freaking out. Can't go get my annual and sit still so i'm prescribed sedatives for those situations. I don't know how i'm possibly going to be able to handle labor and postpartum

I’m in need of a doula who can help me prepare my body for and give a natural birth. This is my fourth child. I have fibromyalgia and each of my children was born in a hospital with an epidural. I would like to avoid having to do that. There is a slight risk of shoulder distocia but I’ve only had an issue with the first child because the doctor panicked and ended up breaking my son’s arm. The other two were delivered healthy with no issues. I’m good with staying active and eating pretty healthy. My third child was actually delivered in a triage room with no Ob or doctor present. He was delivered by six nurses and a lactation consultant. I have superior Medicaid and I’m having to find a doctor late due to moving around too much.

I am planning to give birth at either citizens hospital in Victoria or Detar in Victoria, I am leaning towards citizens hospital. It is my 2nd pregnancy, my first was an emergency C section and I am trying for a VBAC this time! My provider is supportive, I just need to go into labor myself before 41 weeks & some change. I went very late for my first birth (41 and 3, and I took castor oil to effective induce myself) so there is some concern I won’t go into labor myself. I have never had a doula before so I don’t know what the price range would be! My birth plan is a rough sketch right now but: I want it to be as natural as possible. No epidural, no fundal massage, and very delayed cord clamping.

My income and budget is very limited as I am the sole provider for 4 in my household, and now have to pay out of pocket for the birth center until my insurance can reimburse me part of it only after the birth. I am also catching up on my mortgage as I started a new job after losing my job last year. My birth plan is for the birth to be completely intervention free unless absolutely necessary, as I had a horrible experience at Citizens medical center that ended in an emergency C-Section. My budget would be as low as possible, with $600-$800 the most I can afford and $800 would be pushing it a bit.

I plan to give birth at the mission trails Baptist hospital. This my 2nd baby and my plan is to go unmedicated. I think what I really need is just positive reinforcement when I’m feeling like I cant.
