Deciding to go to counseling takes a huge step of courage. Therefore, connecting with your counselor and feeling comfortable sharing your heart is a top priority. I provide counseling for women, primarily with young adults and mothers. I also offers play therapy for children from the ages of 3-6 years old. Additionally, I facilitate support groups for pregnant women and postpartum women. Whether through talk or play, we will work together process your thoughts and feelings during life's challenging moments. I will meet you where you are and provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I believe it is an honor to be invited into her client’s private experiences and the opportunity to guide them towards living a meaningful life. I hope you will take this next step and allow me to partake in you or your child's journey towards healing. “Loving ourselves through the process of owning our story is the bravest thing we will ever do.” – Brene Brown

Hello, nice to meet you! I am a birth photographer located in Spring, Texas. I absolutely love witnessing and capturing people's birth stories. Additionally, as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community I have noticed that we are not well represented in the world of birth photography. As such I would love working with LGBTQIA families as well as polycule families. I work closely with a group of doulas and other birth workers and we've built a loving community for our clients.

I have been a birth worker for 8 years and have 15 years of infant care experience as a professional nanny, postpartum doula, and educator. I am a mom of 4 crazy lovable kiddos (2015, 2017, 2021, and 2023) and I have personally experienced hospital birth and out of hospital birth. It was the care of 2 volunteer doulas during my first birth who helped drive my desire to become a birth worker. I am passionate about education as an incredible tool to build confidence and help birth outcomes. I believe everyone should have access to the highest level of education and care during their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. This is driven by my belief that every person is born with inherent dignity, value, and worth and that women’s bodies are strong and beautifully made to birth their baby. I have a true calling to do this work and it is an incredible honor to be part of each family’s birth journey that I serve! When I am not teaching childbirth education or processing a placenta, I enjoy servicing at my church and all things musical theatre and fantasy. Two things that will always make me smile are dance parties with my kids and trying new restaurants with my husband.

Hi, I’m Misty — a birth doula and placenta encapsulation specialist passionate about helping families feel supported, confident, and cared for throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Before becoming a doula, I spent over a decade in consulting and client care, where I learned the importance of truly listening, building trust, and providing steady support through times of change. These skills naturally evolved into my work as a doula, where I now have the privilege of guiding families through one of life’s most meaningful transitions. My mission is to offer care that is both compassionate and empowering. With over 10 years of professional experience supporting people through major life moments, I bring a calm, grounding presence to every birth space. I believe every mother deserves to feel seen, respected, and supported — emotionally, physically, and spiritually — during this journey. As a mother of three and grandmother of three, I understand firsthand the range of emotions that come with pregnancy and birth. My goal is to help mothers experience a more peaceful, confident, and connected transition into motherhood than I did myself. Through personalized doula care and placenta encapsulation, I’m honored to help families recover, bond, and thrive.

Misty is an amazing doula! I chose her carefully after interviewing several doulas, and I was beyond impressed. My goal was an unmediated birth and Misty gave me the comfort and confidence to achieve that. I would not have been able to do it with out her support. I also loved how she included my husband throughout my labor and helped him know what to do and how to support me. She also helped me understand what my body was doing and taught me to trust my self which was what made my entire experience so empowering. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone! We will send her pictures for the next 30 years that’s how much she means to us now.

I have had a passion for the birth world for nearly a decade. It began in college when I worked as an Emergency Room Technician at a small town hospital. Although it was rare, we would occasionally have moms come in while in labor and I LOVED the excitement and thrill of the possibility of being a helping hand with a birth. This along with having midwifery care during my own pregnancies and births, eventually led me to began studying midwifery in 2018. During midwifery clinicals I was able to assist in many home and birth center births. I had the utter joy of helping mamas feel safe & comfortable, empowered to give birth in the way they desired, overcome obstacles, and see new life come into the world! I am currently taking time off from my midwifery training to focus on caring for and homeschooling my three precious daughters. This time off also allows me to venture into the doula world! As a doula, I will bring my knowledge of evidence-based practice and hands-on experience to educate, encourage, and support families in achieving the birth experience they desire.
