About Ashley

Hello, nice to meet you! I am a birth photographer located in Spring, Texas. I absolutely love witnessing and capturing people's birth stories. Additionally, as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community I have noticed that we are not well represented in the world of birth photography. As such I would love working with LGBTQIA families as well as polycule families. I work closely with a group of doulas and other birth workers and we've built a loving community for our clients.

Birth Photography

I do not put an image limit on birth galleries. The number of images in your gallery will greatly depend on how long your labor is and how many images I find best tell your story. Additionally, there is not a time limit on birth photography. I will remain onsite for as much of your labor as possible. As well as the digital images, this package includes a physical album designed by me.

What to expect

I am a birth photographer which is a documentary style of photography. These are not formal portraits by any stretch. I serve expanding families planning for a hospital birth, home birth, or who will labor at a birthing center. For safety and liability reasons I cannot attend any "free birth" type of deliveries. I come to you fairly early in your labor and I stay until about an hour after baby has arrived. This means your gallery will illustrate as much of your birth story as is possible. I believe that while the moment of arrival is of course THE moment, it's all of the little moments in the waiting that you likely won't remember and will love seeing most in your gallery.
