About me
I have been a birth worker for 8 years and have 15 years of infant care experience as a professional nanny, postpartum doula, and educator. I am a mom of 4 crazy lovable kiddos (2015, 2017, 2021, and 2023) and I have personally experienced hospital birth and out of hospital birth. It was the care of 2 volunteer doulas during my first birth who helped drive my desire to become a birth worker. I am passionate about education as an incredible tool to build confidence and help birth outcomes. I believe everyone should have access to the highest level of education and care during their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. This is driven by my belief that every person is born with inherent dignity, value, and worth and that women’s bodies are strong and beautifully made to birth their baby. I have a true calling to do this work and it is an incredible honor to be part of each family’s birth journey that I serve! When I am not teaching childbirth education or processing a placenta, I enjoy servicing at my church and all things musical theatre and fantasy. Two things that will always make me smile are dance parties with my kids and trying new restaurants with my husband.

Service introduction
Childbirth Education- Join us for 8 hours of evidence-based childbirth education designed to empower you in your birth decisions, build confidence for you and your partner, and find community with other expectant parents. Each childbirth class is taught on a Saturday from 9:00 am- 5:00 pm with a break from lunch. (Lunch not included) The class covers the three stages of labor, comfort measures, and making decisions in labor, pushing, and postpartum decisions. The class is taught by a seasoned childbirth educator and doula. The cost is $350 a couple. All classes require you to be signed up ahead of time. Refunds are not available for this purchase. Infant care class- Let’s get ready to bring your sweet baby home! With so many books, websites, and opinions it can be hard to know what to expect when bringing your baby home. This class covers all the essentials and is tailored to all of your specific infant care needs. Each Class is 1.5 hours long. Placenta encapsulation- a traditional Eastern medicine practice, supports postpartum healing by regulating hormones, boosting energy, increasing breastmilk supply, and replenishing minerals. The process involves cleaning, steaming, dehydrating, and powdering the placenta, which is then encapsulated. Our certified encapsulator will pick up your placenta between 8am and 9pm, or your doula can handle it after birth. The entire process, completed in a safe and sterile environment, takes 24-48 hours. Once ready, your capsules and instructions will be delivered to you.
