Hi, I’m Misty — a birth doula and placenta encapsulation specialist passionate about helping families feel supported, confident, and cared for throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Before becoming a doula, I spent over a decade in consulting and client care, where I learned the importance of truly listening, building trust, and providing steady support through times of change. These skills naturally evolved into my work as a doula, where I now have the privilege of guiding families through one of life’s most meaningful transitions. My mission is to offer care that is both compassionate and empowering. With over 10 years of professional experience supporting people through major life moments, I bring a calm, grounding presence to every birth space. I believe every mother deserves to feel seen, respected, and supported — emotionally, physically, and spiritually — during this journey. As a mother of three and grandmother of three, I understand firsthand the range of emotions that come with pregnancy and birth. My goal is to help mothers experience a more peaceful, confident, and connected transition into motherhood than I did myself. As your birth doula, I provide continuous emotional, physical, and informational support throughout your pregnancy, labor, and early postpartum period. My goal is to help you feel calm, confident, and empowered as you prepare to welcome your baby. From creating a personalized birth plan and practicing comfort techniques to offering reassurance and advocacy during labor, I'm there every step of the way. Whether you're planning a hospital, birth center, or home birth, I tailor my care to your preferences, ensuring you and your partner feel supported, respected, and informed throughout your experience. I also offer safe, professional placenta encapsulation designed to support postpartum healing and balance. Using the Traditional Chinese Method, I carefully prepare your placenta into capsules that may promote recovery, enhance mood, and support milk production. Each service includes a keepsake umbilical cord and detailed instructions for safe storage and use. My process is completed with care, respect, and adherence to strict sanitation protocols, giving you peace of mind as you focus on bonding with your baby.

Misty is an amazing doula! I chose her carefully after interviewing several doulas, and I was beyond impressed. My goal was an unmediated birth and Misty gave me the comfort and confidence to achieve that. I would not have been able to do it with out her support. I also loved how she included my husband throughout my labor and helped him know what to do and how to support me. She also helped me understand what my body was doing and taught me to trust my self which was what made my entire experience so empowering. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone! We will send her pictures for the next 30 years that’s how much she means to us now.
