About me

My name is Monica Mena. I received my Bachelor of Nursing from Adelphi University in December 2017. In April 2018, I began working for Nurse Family Partnership. Throughout the next 3.5 years, I worked with over 200 first time mothers and their families, educating them in the comfort of their own home. I decided to start my business to bring these services to my community and surrounding communities. Every time I told someone what I do I always got the same responses "Oh! That's so cool, I never heard of that" or "I wish that was around when I was pregnant or after giving birth". There is a dire need for caring for pregnant moms and their babies, throughout pregnancy and after giving birth. Maternal mental health and support are key in my practice as well. Having a private duty nurse allows you to educate yourself, ask questions, have support, establish a trusting relationship and be the best mommy you can bee 🐝
