Just found out my wife is pregnant she is either 3 weeks or 7 weeks. First ultrasound is scheduled for June 1st. We are Catholic and are interested in learning about natural birthing practices. Want to learn about doulas midwives and how to have either a home birth or a natural hospital birth. Want to learn about how I can advocate for my wife so we don’t get vaccinations and unnecessary procedures. We live in CT and plan to contact with Hartford hospital for our care. I make just under 3k a month with rent at 1250 every month.

I am hoping to receive a doula as I am newly pregnant, I am looking for support for prenatal, during birth and possibly after.I plan to give birth in a hospital setting, and I have husky I dont know if that is covered.

I live in Ledyard, CT, but I plan to give birth at South County Hospital in Wakefield, RI. I am still working out the details of my birth plan, but I am hoping to have an unmedicated birth. I'm looking for a postpartum doula in Suffolk County. Our baby is due in August, and we would like help with, newborn care (bottle feeding, diaper changes, etc), lactation education, general household help (cleaning, cooking), and postpartum mom support. Night support would be great, but we are still deciding/are flexible. A bonus is someone trained in Traditional Chinese medicine, but not required. Ideally looking for someone that my insurance covers, so budget can also be flexible.
