Growing up, I used to listen to my mother's birth stories, which helped me see childbirth as a grand and beautiful event. For me, the idea of giving birth was always sacred - but it was through the births of my two daughters that I truly understood what it means to give birth. Yose is a Holistic Birth and Postpartum Doula, Certified Lactation Educator, and Birthrights advocate in Orange County, California. Her passion for Birth Work began in 2020 when she got pregnant with her daughter Kailani. During pregnancy she prepared mentally, physically, and spiritually for labor, but did not prepare for the postpartum period. With no family or support around made her 4th trimester a very difficult time for her and her partner. Yose completed her Birth Worker training with Bebo Mia Inc when her daughter was only 3 months old. After the training she realized that she wanted to take a more ancestral approach in birth work, and began learning about Mexican Birth and Postpartum Traditions. She Is constantly growing and learning! As your Doula Yose will walk with you through pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
