Hospital birth, goals of unmedicated, attempting VBAC, budget around $1500 but flexible
1. Hospital 2. $3000 3. To be as comfortable & stress-free as possible. I do not like the idea of Pitocin and all kinds of medications that may affect my baby. I am not opposed to an epidural if pain is severe.
I have soonercare. I want a VBAC. I’m 41. I want to deliver at mercy in Oklahoma City.
I plan to give birth in the hospital. I am on Medicaid. I am currently working on my birth plan.
Delivering in the birthing center at Mercy in OKC. I am a plus size woman and my blood pressure is slightly elevated. Not labeled as a “high risk” pregnancy. I wanted to go to the midwife program, but my BMI is too high to qualify. I’m wanting a birthing experience that requires very little medical interventions and is as natural as possible. My husband is a people pleaser, so a second person who can help hold boundaries and help show him how he can be helpful would be great! I have no idea on prices or budgeting. Just trying to see what the prices are in the area for right now.
-My names Aly, I’m 20 years old and due in July. I’m wanting a water birth at a facility made for water births. Preferably one that I’ll have my own space and not have to share an area with someone. -I have insurance but no outside midwife/doula take insurance. I want someone who can take insurance or has a payment system to split payments or doesn’t cost 7,000. This is a must for me due to not having the time to pay out of pocket. -For my birthing plan I don’t ask much. 1. I only want one or two people on my care team. 2. No rushing through the process. 3. I want the cord to be white before being cut 4. No constant fetal monitoring -I want a licensed and certified doula/midwife
Hospital I am on sooner care I am not sure , I’m a first time mother
Hospital mercy okc, ok would like education and attend the birth at hospital, assist during labor and educate before. Should take sooner care insurance
I plan to give birth at a hospital. I don’t have a budget or spending cost in mind yet. I am looking for someone who specializes in natural birth techniques due to not wanting an epidural with my back issues. I also would like an advocate in the room. And someone who can help with breastfeeding/pumping.
I would prefer to give birth at me home in the bath or a small pool. This is my 3rd child. I have always wanted to have a water birth. If not, I am currently being seen at Chickasaw Nation Medical Center in Ada, OK. Im not 100% sure about a budget. Would need to be discussed. I would like to do an all natural birth, however, I'm not too informed on the best way to go about that. Same for helping with comfort the further along I get in the pregnancy. I dont really have a birth plan. I would like to have one. I know that I would like to go without an epidural, in water if possible, at home, and possible exercises to help me prepare for baby. Along with all natural supplements I should/could be taking.
Just really support at birth I want to lower my risk for a c section
