Hello, I am new to OKC, we just had to move last minute for my husbands job. We have no friends or family in the area and are in need of some support and help with our little family. I have an 11 month old son and a daughter due any day. As well as 3 older children who are currently staying in TX with family. I will be having a hospital birth, C section at Integris Baptist due to medical issues and high risk pregnancy I am not interested in natural birth. I am looking for a doula to help attend the birth at the hospital and help with my 11 month old son so he can be there with us, he is not allowed in the operating room but would be joining us immediatley after. I am also needing help with lactation, adjustments and sleep schedule for my older baby, and generally help us get adjusted in the early days at home with 2 under 1. If you are available next week, we may also need help with shopping and gathering supplies and baby items, and setting things up for baby, we werent able to bring anything with us to OKC and are starting over. I do have soonercare and if you are licenced it would be a plus as some of the visits will be covered by them, but we willing to work out a cash arrangement weekly as well. Please contact me with your availability and we can make a consultation asap to see if it would be a good fit! Thank you.
I plan to give birth at Integris Edmond Hospital. If my insurance could cover it that would be great. I would like a vaginal birth and need all of the support I can get. I have nobody as of now and it scares me to think I’m going to go through birth alone as well as postpartum again…
I am planning to give birth at a Hospital, due to medical issues. I don currently have a birthplan.
I would like the option of giving birth at home or in a midwife facility but not a hospital. I would prefer someone who accepts my insurance of Humana healthy horizons. I want someone who has a very personal connection and will support my decisions during birth.
I plan to give birth at Mercy Hospital in North OKC. I am wanting an unmediated natural birth with no induction unless it is absolutely medically necessary. I am wanting my doula to support me in positioning and proper breathing techniques to alleviate pain during labor. I want the cord to be white and not pulsating before my husband clips it. I want the placenta to be delivered on its own. I want to labor at home as long as possible before heading to the hospital. I have Tricare Prime and have been told a doula will be covered.
1. Hospital 2. $3000 3. To be as comfortable & stress-free as possible. I do not like the idea of Pitocin and all kinds of medications that may affect my baby. I am not opposed to an epidural if pain is severe.
I plan to give birth at OU Children's Hospital. I am 45 yes old. I am hoping to find a doula that Vaillancourt accept my insurance. I am currently still working on a birth plan. I do not have very much help or support and am reaching out in hopes that this will help me.
Ive had 6 back surgeries and chronic pain, and will be unable to have an epidural. Im planning on natural childbirth with pain medicine up until a 6, and then nitrous after that. But im looking for someone to help me with pain management techniques and to coach me through the process. In wanting to do my best to avoid an emergency c-section. I dont have a birth plan, im planning to give birth at Integris Baptist. Dr. Mitchell West is my OB. They said they will have to take hin early due to my history of high BP and age (im 37). I currently dont have any idea how much a birth coach would cost, im trying to see how much it would be. I do have limited funds.
Delivering in the birthing center at Mercy in OKC. I am a plus size woman and my blood pressure is slightly elevated. Not labeled as a “high risk” pregnancy. I wanted to go to the midwife program, but my BMI is too high to qualify. I’m wanting a birthing experience that requires very little medical interventions and is as natural as possible. My husband is a people pleaser, so a second person who can help hold boundaries and help show him how he can be helpful would be great! I have no idea on prices or budgeting. Just trying to see what the prices are in the area for right now.
I plan to get a csection at mercy hospital in okc. Tight budget. Highmark Blue cross blue shield and champva for medical insurance. Mainly looking for some extra emotional support during and after the pregnancy. This would be my first time using a doula.
-My names Aly, I’m 20 years old and due in July. I’m wanting a water birth at a facility made for water births. Preferably one that I’ll have my own space and not have to share an area with someone. -I have insurance but no outside midwife/doula take insurance. I want someone who can take insurance or has a payment system to split payments or doesn’t cost 7,000. This is a must for me due to not having the time to pay out of pocket. -For my birthing plan I don’t ask much. 1. I only want one or two people on my care team. 2. No rushing through the process. 3. I want the cord to be white before being cut 4. No constant fetal monitoring -I want a licensed and certified doula/midwife
I am looking for a doula as I would like to have the most natural labor as much as I can and I would like a doula there to help and inform me. I will be giving birth at a hospital, I would rather not use an epidural or pitocin or any other medicine if not needed
Hospital I am on sooner care I am not sure , I’m a first time mother
I would prefer to give birth at me home in the bath or a small pool. This is my 3rd child. I have always wanted to have a water birth. If not, I am currently being seen at Chickasaw Nation Medical Center in Ada, OK. Im not 100% sure about a budget. Would need to be discussed. I would like to do an all natural birth, however, I'm not too informed on the best way to go about that. Same for helping with comfort the further along I get in the pregnancy. I dont really have a birth plan. I would like to have one. I know that I would like to go without an epidural, in water if possible, at home, and possible exercises to help me prepare for baby. Along with all natural supplements I should/could be taking.
I don't mind a hospital birth but I want an advocate there to coach me through labor and make sure the staff carry out my wishes even the baby is born. I want as little medical intervention as possible. I prefer natural medicine in every way. I have no idea what a midwife would cost and that is another concern
Just really support at birth I want to lower my risk for a c section

Wanting a unmedicated birth at Stillwater ok hospital
Hello, my daughter is expecting for first time and is terrified of all entails, though very excited for baby. She's 12 weeks and has so much morning sickness. She's also not good with getting blood drawn gives her major anxiety. Last time they tried I hospital she was so freaked out she moved and it busted. She's wanting to have baby as naturally as possible. So I'm trying to help get information. I had 2 c sections but would love for her to have this kind of more peaceful experience. Do you accept sooner care or take monthly payments? Any information you could give would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
