Birth support
I am a first time mom and my partner is visually impaired. I am plan to give birth in Burien Hospital. I’m not sure what my budget would be right now. I am planning on having a vaginal birth, I want a delayed cord clamping. I want to do a mix of breast feed and formula for my baby. I would say at least 3 years of experience and bilingual with Spanish. I think I would need help with sleep training. I’m not sure how much help I would need with house chores.
I’m planning on giving birth at home. I need a birth and postpartum doula. How I envision it is she will help me with the birth and take care of me- cook meals, clean kitchen, take care of baby for the next month after I give birth. My budget is $5000 for this entire service
I am having my fourth child. I am going to be solo-parenting 3 elementary school aged children (11, 8, and 6) while welcoming my new baby. My current children’s father is not the father of my newest addition. I plan to give a medicated birth at a hospital, Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA. As far as budget goes, I am hoping to find someone covered by my insurance. My birth plan actually needs a lot of planning still. This will be my first unsupported birth. With my previous children I had my partner, mother and usually another female family member. It has been over 6 years since my last birth and I’m open to trying new things like birthing baths and alternative pushing positions. My births have always been short (4-6 hours from start to final push.) I never had any complications after birth or during but did need an iron transfusion before my third child was born, I went into labor the night after receiving the transfusion. I need a lot of guidance and support and will be struggling with anxiety during this pregnancy and birth.
Hospital birth. Unsure of budget birth plan is being figured out
I plan to give birth in a hospital. I’m military but I want civilian doctors. My birth plan is that I don’t want an epidural unless I truly need it. I want it to be the last resort. I don’t mind pitocin. I want my golden hour. 30 minutes for me and 30 for dad. I don’t want a catheter unless needed. I don’t want to bathe baby until later. I want delayed cord clamping. I want to labor at home for as long as possible.
Valley Medical Center, around $1,500 and no specific birth plan at this time other than delivery at Valley Medical and vaginal delivery, ok with medicated delivery.
Im a First time african american mom to be with mono di twins. I dont have a full birth plan yet because its very early but I would like to get more info and see what my options are.
I am giving birth at Foothills Midwifery. My official due date is August 4, 2026, but I have always been early by 10-15 days. I need my insurance plan accepted which is the Community Health Plan of Washington. I want a holistic approach and full support during labor and delivery and for some time afterwards as well. I would like my spouse and 3 other children to be involved as well if possible.
I’m considering home birth and birth center options. Secondary option is Overlake hospital. I prefer least amount of medical intervention as possible.

Hey there, My wife Michelle and I are looking for a birth and postpartum doula to support the birth of our first child. My wife is of Filipino descent, but was raised in Austria and I am German. We’ve been living in the US for 3 years, but don’t have any family support around so we look forward to getting some helping hands during the birth of our child. Michelle is going to be giving birth in the Swedish First Hill Hospital and is in primary care with the Swedish First Hill Midwifery. Provide your estimated budget - 2000-3000 Describe your birth plan - natural birth, no interventions if possible Describe your requirements for the provider (certification, number of years experience, second language spoken) - no strict requirements, but we are looking for someone with experience Thank you! Hello there, looking for a doula to help guide us through our birthing journey, help with nights and teach us about how to heal, lactation specialist and care for the baby. We are new parents and expecting a boy in the fall
Im giving birth at home, around 300 for our budget. I want to do it naturally, deyladed cord clamping, having a water birth. I want someone experienced, someone who is kind and won't rush through my birth
I plan to give birth in my home, and have a water tub available. I do not have a budget. I want my birth to be in my living room, with a warm tub of water available. I want to be able to go into any position I feel is needed. I would like delayed cord clamping, and no vaccines or shots of any sorts after baby is born, and to keep the vernix caseosa on after birth for at least 24 hours. I would like my husband to be there, and possibly my mother, along with a midwife and a doula. I would like some music, and support from everyone in the room. if a medical emergency were to happen, there is a fire station across the street, and hospital is 10-15 minutes away. This is my first pregnancy, and I would love a happy and safe home birth. I am still actively researching.
