Need help with night care - establishing night shifts between parents so we can sleep/recover. Need help with cleaning, organizing and laundry here and there. Would like someone who speaks French. Looking to see how far 500-1000$ could get us.
Hello! I am a first time mom-to-be looking for a doula after hearing how great it is to have one. My budget is around $1500 and I would be having the baby at Mont fort hospital. I would ideally like to have a vaginal birth with epidural. Not much else planned. I need guidance on how and what to prepare for. I live in Gatineau.
single mom needing help! not sure how this all works, but I would like the help from someone with my baby so I can tend to myself (i.e. shower, nap, pump more regularly) or other tasks (i.e. laundry, recycling run). I would prefer someone who speaks french as I'm trying to primarily speak french to my baby, but not a requirement.
postpartum at home support, certified doula, background checked, age up to 50 years old; maybe light cooking
Hi. I am looking for a Doula or Midwife to be present in the delivery room and support with birth and my birth plan. I plan to give birth at The Ottawa Hospital. My birth plan includes delayed cord clamping, immediate skin to skin, different birthing positions, delayed pain medication.
Need night time support, for assisting with feed changing diapers etc
Hello I would like to book Doula service for postpartum care as I would need some help to handle the new born and also care for the mother after birth. Labor might start next week as we expect the baby to be born sooner than the actual due date.
I have a 2 year old girl and I am currently pregnant. Following the birth of my first child, I required a lot of support from my father, who passed away this year. We have friends and family able to provide occasional support, but my husband and I are worried that we may need extra support following the birth of our second child. If the birth goes smoothly, we anticipate needing someone to help make meals for me, light cleaning, and being another set of eyes on our toddler. Sleep is the biggest concern, so a night nanny might be something we need, or at least want to have at the ready. I am planning on giving birth at Almonte Hospital. I live in Carleton Place. I plan on having a natural delivery (not a planned c-section). My last birth was fairly smooth (laughing gas for pain, episiotomy and vacuum delivery, home from hospital after 2 night stay), so I am hoping for a similar experience. Our budget is quite flexible, we know we will need the help, we estimated maybe up to $100 a day or $300 a week? It's hard to guess how much help we will need, but want to be ready for worst case scenario.
