I am planning to give birth at the hospital but am looking for support at home before and for someone to act as a gatekeeper to our birth plan and my peace during labour at the hospital. Main reason for services is postpartum, my partner will not qualify for paternity leave so am going to need help.

I am ever excited about my first birth and am visualizing a magical experience. We plan to deliver at Collingwood hospital. We live in cookstown, it’s an hour and 25mins away. My in-laws live near by the hospital in Wasaga beach. We have discussed staying with them as it gets closer to go time. Best case scenario is going through early labour in the comfort of a home environment until it’s time to go to the hospital.
