Hospital. Highmark PPO insurance coverage Looking for education and support for first time mom and dad
I will be delivering at heritage valley beaver hospital but this wasn’t my first choice and does make me nervous since I don’t have a lot of information on them. This will be my third birth and I had a horrible experience with my first in Dubois, Pa however that was followed by the most amazing experience birthing my son in bloomsburg, pa! I’m under the impression I do not have a midwife here which is a first for me. I want to do this birth as naturally as I can using more holistic methods and care for both me and baby (with exceptions as needed obviously as I do fall more “scrunchy”). I worry about going in and not having my voice heard. My insurance pays up to $1000 for a doula and I understand that might not cover it all which is okay within some type of reason or with the help of a payment plan. Keeping it close to that is preferred though.

Someone who offers a free consult, as we would like to interview multiple doulas to find a great match for us. I would love someone who is experienced in positioning, natural pain relief and VBACs. Thanks!
