I am a new mom freshly postpartum with a one month old and suffering postpartum depression, mostly triggered by lack of sleep and exhaustion. I am looking for someone to take over night shifts so I can get batteries recharged and keep postpartum at bay.

As first-time parents, we hope the doula can support us and help us build confidence in caring for our baby throughout the day and night.

And I would love support creating a birth plan. Some things I know I want is pain medicine, being able to move during delivery, and delayed cord clamping. My husband and I both have ADHD and are highly intelligent. We would love someone pretty intelligent, but also someone that can read the room as I can become overstimulated with pain. Please have at least a few years experience, and be a certified night nurse for newborns/ infants in postpartum. Our 1 month old baby Hyde takes bottles of breast milk that I pump, and has silent reflux so needs to be upright after every feed for 10-30 minutes at least. He takes a prescribed dose of Pepcid once daily but I give that in the mornings so no worries there. I just ask that you keep up on the bottle washing throughout the night and just make sure he is fed, changed, and burped thoroughly

Newborn has Billy Ruben and is requiring 24 hr blue light therapy. My wife was just brought back into the ER due to high blood pressure and may also require a blood transfusion due to red cell count on top of the high blood pressure issue. We also have a 20 month old in the house who requires care. They must be certified. Looking for a doula for the house to assist.
