Hello Team, My name is Lillian Katusiime, and I am currently approximately 18 weeks pregnant. I am writing to inquire about transferring my prenatal care to your practice, with a strong preference for midwifery services. My husband resides in Burnaby, Canada, where I stayed from October to January. Due to my work commitments in Budapest, Hungary, I returned temporarily, but I am planning to relocate permanently to the Burnaby area on May 29, 2026. My estimated due date is August 27, 2026. I understand that I am reaching out later in my pregnancy; however, I would be very grateful if you could consider my request or place me on a waitlist should availability be limited. I have all relevant medical records, including ultrasound reports, readily available and can provide them upon request. Thank you very much for your time and consideration. I look forward to your response. Kind regards, Lillian Katusiime
Hello, I’m looking for a doula or midwife to help me Prepare for a natural birth. I need help in understanding my rights for birth and someone who can help encourage me at that moment and advocate for me. Currently I am 26 weeks Pregnant . Also it’s just me and my husband in this country, we don’t have any support here , so a warm and kind person to support us would be really helpful. Since it’s my first pregnancy and in a new country I am currently clueless, along with this, I don’t have any family support. So truly some emotional support along with birth prep is what I need. Also we live in burquitlam, but my husband and I are willing to travel if need be. Budget is no problem. We would like a home birth/ water birth but open to a hospital one. Wherever the midwife or doula can support - namely rch, Surrey memorial, Burnaby, Vancouver women’s hospital.

Lord willing, I will give birth to our third-born this October in Langley, BC, canada. I plan to give birth at my parents little cottage at the back of their property. Our estimated budget is up to $3,000 cad, which would provide prenatal care from around 26 weeks until I birth the baby, and then up until six weeks after. Id love two home visits after the birth, and would expect one visit for sure! Our birth plan is essentially to water birth the baby at home, potentially outdoors in the rain!!! (Weather permitting). Id love to have our two older babies present at the birth. They’re currently 2years2 months and 8 months old! Id like mainly hands off monitoring /observing and to mostly be left alone (I think) and to be in the zone and be able to focus! The X Family Birth Plan “Yet, with the respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was also able to perform.” Romans 4:20-21 During Labor: encouraging words only please! Pls do not call me “exhausted” or in “pain” •no medication •ability to move freely •natural water rupture •intermittent monitoring •dim lights •water birth •no episiotomy •limited cervical exams, when I say yes •no membrane sweep •food and drink for Sarah •no students please •pitocin only if bleeding out •no IV please •no forceps/vacuum •husband to catch baby After Delivery: •immediate skin-to-skin •delayed cord clamp until after placenta is born •keep placenta •Zebedee and husband to cut cord once it is white •breastfeeding asap •no vitamin k shot, no hep b shot •oral vitamin k please •no eye ointment •no bath for baby •delay exams for bonding •no formula •no visitors please (Copy of previous birth plan above)
I am reaching out to inquire about the possibility of having a midwife follow up with me for care both before and after my delivery. My expected due date is May 8, 2026. I am currently visiting and do not have an MSP health card. However, I do have private insurance and would be happy to provide full details, as well as a deposit if required. Could you please let me know: • If you are able to take me on as a patient at this stage of my pregnancy • What information or documents you would need from me • The fees and payment process for patients without MSP coverage • What services are included in your prenatal and postnatal care I would greatly appreciate any information you can provide and would be happy to share further details about my situation if needed. Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
