I’m reaching out because I have been dealing with some significant health issues while pregnant and not sure how my birth plan will go now, I will need extra support after the baby arrives so I can rest and recover. I’m interested in night-doula care maybe starting out with about two weeks of support to begin with.

We are looking for a IBCLC certified lactation consultant to help with breasts feeding for our newborn son (Oct 22 2025). I plan do give birth at a hospital. I would like to use my Anthem blue cross Prudent Byer PPO insurance. I am being induced on Dec 18th, because of placental insufficiency and growth restriction due to a Down syndrome diagnosis. I plan to get an epidural, so I am ready to go if we need a C-section. I will be 37 weeks pregnant with our first baby. I plan to have my husband and my mother in the room with me during the induction process. I would also like to breastfeed.
