Hi. I'm Kiki Lazarus and I'm a birth + postpartum doula practicing in Los Angeles, California. I'm a woman, mother, wife, daughter, and friend who tends to the physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing of family constellations during the profound transitions surrounding birth. My practice combines softness + structure to create a calm ecosystem of care across the perinatal continuum, and my approach blends integrative, evidence-based, modern birth work with the physiologic wisdom encoded in our DNA. My ethos of Planet + People centers perinatal mental health, the parasympathetic nervous system, nurturing the infant–parent dyad, and resourcing families. I'm devoted to envisioning a radical reality filled with a just, peaceful, beautiful, intuitive culture of birth + beyond, and is thoroughly invested in the full-spectrum of human emotion/experience, body literacy, birth stories, and parenting in modernity.

JD was everything we could want in a doula and more than we knew to ask for. They weren't just incredibly supportive and helpful during the labor and delivery, but they were curious about us and our relationship and family and how that might influence what we would need or want when the time came. the time came unexpectedly and suddenly and JD was still there through the whole thing. My partner is nonbinary and JD was there with they/them reminders when we were exhausted, in addition to advocating for us with hospital staff, anticipating needs and bringing extra love and comfort to our efforts.

Sabrina has been our night nurse for close to 2 months and I don't know what we would have done with out her. She's always on time. Checks in throughout the week to see how things are going. Provides guidance on every newborn challenge we have faced- gas/reflux, mastitis, when our baby started rejecting the bottle, and so much more. She's helped us lay the foundation for good sleeping habits so that we're setup for success in the future, and she is great with our baby. Sabrina is kind, caring and incredibly knowledgable. I cannot recommend her enough.

Hello I'm Sarah, a birth and postpartum doula in Los Angeles and founder of Ever Wilde Doula. I support families through pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum period. My approach balances honoring physiology with pragmatism and zero dogma. Every family deserves to feel respected, supported, and held, no matter their path. I’m very passionate about helping parents navigate the modern maternity system and understanding their options in a non-biased way, providing trauma-informed support, promoting individualized care and centering the birthing parent in their care. In addition to my doula work, I am also a certified perinatal patient advocate and am well equipped to speak to my client's providers on their behalf to convey their wishes and advocate for their informed consent. I help parents gather ALL the information they need to make values-based decisions, and help them get safe to make the choice that is right for them, without pressure or coercion. I’m equally passionate about providing postpartum support and believe in continuity of care from birth through postpartum, which is why I automatically include 8 hours of postpartum care for all my birth clients. I love to cook, nurture, and care for people, so supporting families in this season of profound vulnerability and healing deeply fills my cup.

My journey into the world of doula work is deeply rooted in my personal experiences and commitment to serving marginalized communities. As a Black Jamaican queer woman who has navigated the complexities of raising a family and building a career in diverse environments, I have come to understand the profound impact of culturally competent and empathetic support during the transformative experiences of reproductive care and justice framework, childbirth, lactation, postpartum, newborn care, bereavement and grief support. I began my career as a full-spectrum doula inspired by my own birthing challenges and experiences, I am a mother of 4 (twin daughter 33 and sons 25 and 22), however, what struck me harder than my own challenges, were the facts, stories, challenges and barriers that black mothers/birthers and their infants were experiencing. The Black maternal/prenatal and infant mortality rate in America is alarming and according to the CDC, “Black women in the United States are three times more likely to die from pregnancy-related causes than White women. In 2022, the maternal mortality rate for Black women/birthers was 49.5 deaths per 100,000 live births, which is higher than the rates for White (19.0), Hispanic (16.9), and Asian (13.2) women/birthers. Some factors that contribute to these disparities include: Variation in quality healthcare, Underlying chronic conditions, Structural racism, Implicit bias, and lack of access to paid parental leave.” I wanted to be part of the solution, I began by becoming a newborn care specialist and now I've expanded my services to include full-spectrum doula, radical reproductive justice advocacy, death, grief, end-of-life doula and future IBCLC and midwife. Beginning with self, propelled me into what had been calling me for decades. Here I am, more ready than ever to expand my career and serve my community. Helping others understand the unique challenges black birthers face, is one of my goals, understanding the problems is the first step in working towards the solution. The realization I found is that many Black families do not receive the support they need to thrive. These realizations propelled me into expanding my career as a newborn care specialist to include full-spectrum doula, lactation educator, death and end-of-life doula and currently working towards becoming a childbirth educator, IBCLC and eventually a midwife. My work has always been centered around advocacy for BIPOC and LGBTQIA2S+ communities, ensuring that all families, regardless of their background, receive the compassionate and personalized care they deserve. In my practice I center black and brown folks and prioritize a holistic approach that encompasses not only the physical aspects of reproductive health care but also the emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being of my clients, their partners and their family members. I believe that they all deserve to feel empowered, respected, and supported throughout the birthing person's journey and other reproductive health care scenarios. This belief drives me to provide comprehensive care that includes prenatal visits, continuous labor support, immediate postpartum lactation support, postpartum visits, newborn care and when needed abortion support, bereavement and grief support. My goal is to create a safer and nurturing environment where my clients, their partners, and family members, can feel heard, valued, and confident in the birthing person’s birth choices and beyond. Whatever their reproductive heath care needs may be. One of the core tenets of my philosophy is the importance of community and connection. I actively engage with support groups, and I'm looking forward to connecting with clinics, hospitals, community and faith-based organizations, and through social media, to support and advocate for reproductive health care rights and justice, recruiting clients and building a network of support. I understand that addressing the disproportionately high rates of Black/African American infant and maternal/prenatal/infant mortality rates in this country requires a collective effort. By fostering strong relationships within communities, I aim to raise awareness of the value of Black doula support and ensure that more Black families have access to these vital services. I am committed to continuous learning and professional development. Attending trainings on lactation, trauma-informed care, full spectrum doula support, newborn care, lactation education, bereavement and grief support, billing and including sliding scales to increase accessibility, and data collection allows me to provide the highest standard of care and to be inclusive to my clients and my community. Moreover, I value the opportunity to present my work and facilitate client support groups, as these activities help to amplify the voices of Black families and promote best practices and cultural traditions, within the doula community. What matters most to me when supporting clients and their families is their autonomy and dignity. EVERY birthing person should have the RIGHT to make informed decisions about their care, and it is my role to provide them with the information, resources, and emotional support they need to do so. I strive to be a compassionate advocate, a reliable partner, and a source of strength for my clients, their families and the communities I serve, by helping them navigate their unique paths to parenthood, reproductive health care, midlife care and through death/dying/end-of-life care, bereavement, and grief, with confidence and grace and to provide support to their folks and to communities in which they live.

I’m a Los Angeles-based birth doula — also a wife, mother and dog-parent. My mission as a doula is to support & empower each client as they prepare for birth, guided by intuition, self-awareness, comfort + evidence-based knowledge. I trained at Bini Birth in 2022, and have spent the years since deepening my learning and preparing to support all types of births — including through my own birth prep (baby Elie joined us in 2024!). My path to this work likely began when I was 8 years old, attending the births of my nieces — though I didn’t know it then. Knowing now about the impact of doula-care, I’m so grateful for the opportunity to nurture my clients in their big threshold moments. When I’m not obsessing over the miracles of pregnancy and birth, I’m working on projects related to community, ritual, rites of passage and belonging — drawing on ancient wisdom as an antidote to modern loneliness (@OneTable). I’m passionate about helping my clients define and realize their intentions around birth, weaving that intention into the preparation process so they can approach their birth experience with clarity, confidence, and a real sense of empowerment.

IMMA (pronounced "ee-ma") means “mother” in Hebrew. It’s the reminder that we are all part of the parenthood collective, no matter how we feed our children. We are here to support you on your feeding journey with compassion and a deep commitment to lactation science. Our mission is simple: to help both baby and parent thrive together. We provide support, not judgment, because we believe you know what's best for your body and your family. Think of us as your “breast friends”—here to share knowledge with kindness. We strike a balance between clinical expertise and personal connection, always meeting families where they are. Sometimes, we have to deliver hard truths that might not match what you imagined, but our approach is always rooted in respect and the understanding that every family’s journey is unique. We recognize that new parenthood, while sacred and miraculous, often isn't treated that way in today's fast-paced world. Many parents don’t get the time off to truly bond with their newborns, but our consults focus on providing you with the knowledge and confidence you need. We’re here to help you understand what it really means to feed and care for your baby. IMMA is also here for the journey beyond those first few months. From introducing solids to managing milk production after returning to work, navigating weaning, or even offering breastmilk to toddlers—we’ve seen it all, and we’re here for you every step of the way. We got you.

I’m Allie Rose, a passionate and dedicated doula inspired by my own journey into motherhood. One of my biggest joys in life is my first born, my daughter, Quincy Rose. Her birth was a transformative experience—long, unexpected, and profoundly impactful. It was through this experience that I found my calling to support others during their own unique birth journeys. Shortly after Quincy was born, I immersed myself in the world of birth work by completing my first doula training. From that moment on, I’ve been honored to attend births and walk alongside families during one of the most intimate and powerful times in their lives. With the mindset that one can never learn enough, I’ve continually expanded my knowledge, most recently studying at Bini Birth, the leading child birth educators in Los Angeles which is DONA International approved. I also regularly attend doula gatherings and conferences to stay up-to-date and connected with my vibrant birth community. Beyond supporting births, I find deep joy in cooking and the nourishing connections it fosters. This passion drives my postpartum services, where I help new families nurture both their bodies and spirits as they navigate the joys and challenges of welcoming a newborn. I truly believe in the power of community, and I'd be honored to be a part of your village. Let’s connect and talk about how I can best support you as you begin this incredible journey.

"Choosing Allie Rose as our birth doula and postpartum doula was hands down the best decision we made for the arrival of our first bundle of joy! From the moment we connected, Allie's warm and nurturing presence put us completely at ease. As our birth doula, she was an unwavering source of strength and calm, providing invaluable emotional and physical support that helped us navigate labor with confidence. Then, during the postpartum period, her gentle guidance, practical help, and knowledgeable insights were truly exemplary. She helped us find our footing as new parents, ensuring we felt seen, supported, and cared for during such a tender time. We are incredibly grateful for Allie Rose's expertise and compassionate care. She truly made our journey into parenthood a more joyful and peaceful experience. We can't recommend her enough!"
