Someone to help advocate for my rights to a natural birth in a hospital setting. I have past medical trauma and I also need someone who can help me emotionally navigate the birth experience. I have tricare select but if going out of pocket id like to stay under 2k.

I want a calm, supportive environment with minimal interventions—no epidural, no Pitocin, freedom to move, natural progression, and gentle monitoring. I plan to give birth at UMC Hospital. I hope i can find a doula that is either covered by pregnancy medicaid or Walmart BCBS. I want to go for an all natural birth as much as possible and get tips about what I can do to prepare for it. I dont have a full birth plan but I want to give birth on all fours and with no pitocin. This is also my first child and I accept that I might want the epidural but i will decide when the day comes and what my pain level is.
