I am Raelene Whitehead! I trained and certified as a birth doula in November 2021, and attended my first birth later that month. I opened Shiloh Birth LLC a few months later. I added placenta encapsulation and childbirth education to my services in 2023! I became a birth doula and placenta encapsulationist because I believe women deserve support. Women deserve education and information especially when it comes to pregnancy, birth and postpartum. My desire and mission is to help women develop a peaceful environment for them to birth in. I want moms to feel safe and respected with the decisions they make when it comes to their body and baby. When I am not at a birth or encapsulating a placenta, I am a stay-at-home wife and mama.

Hi, I’m Dess- mom of three four and under, 2x Hyperemesis survivor and self proclaimed “birth witch”/“guard dog” I am a student doula training under Our Earth here in New Mexico, and am training with the APPA for my placenta encapsulation certification. I firmly believe all families deserve doula care regardless of income or spiritual background and offer spiritually based care along side my services. I am a caregiver and artist living in Albuquerque. I finished a Traditional Birthwork (Doula) Training in October 2024 and I am looking to work as a night Nanny close to home. I am Whitney and pregnancy and motherhood have changed me forever in a million beautiful ways. After years of knowing I wanted to be a healer, I earned a bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of New Mexico with the original intention of going to medical school afterwards. I became disenchanted with the medical field and then became a yoga teacher and yoga studio owner as I was searching for how to fulfill my calling in integrity. Birth work finally found me after I became a mother myself and this has become my focus! Within the same year of giving birth, I became a certified doula. I am a lifelong learner who is continuing independent midwifery studies and who is in the middle of Birthkeeping school with Whapio of La Matrona. I have much to offer in my service including with yoga, meditation, essential oils, herbal remedies, homeopathy, and deep anatomical understanding.
