As a first-time mom, I found Angelika through an amazing event called Village Prenatal that she co-hosted with another doula. I'm so grateful our paths crossed. After the event, I shared some of the struggles I was having with breastfeeding, and she offered to help. Angelika came to my home and worked with me on my baby's latch, my pump settings, made sure I had the correct flange size, and gave me recommendations for supplements to manage my PPA/PPD. She is incredibly knowledgeable and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. If you're looking for a compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring doula and lactation consultant, I cannot recommend Angelika enough. She made such a meaningful difference in my breastfeeding journey. One of the biggest things I took away from this experience is how powerful it is when women come together to support one another. Michelle was amazing to work with. As first time parents, she gave constant reassurance on what we were doing and provided us with helpful tools to use during pregnancy. When we finally went to the hospital (on Thanksgiving), she met us with calming energy and made the experience much better.
