About Michelle

I have always been intrigued by the magic of the human body and healing and I wanted to be part of the medical world but not in the typical western fashion- hence all my studies in complementary and alternative therapies. Women’s health is a particular area of interest for me as I have had to navigate this overwhelming and often scary space while dealing with endometriosis, infertility and loss and I vowed to help women get curious about their health and their bodies, to feel empowered and to trust their intuition and ask the hard questions over and over until their questions have been answered fully. Birth work is something I feel drawn to do. I am fascinated with it and in awe of the process, the power, the beauty and the rawness of it all. Watching the birth of a baby, a mother, a father, a family….. gives me goosebumps every single time. No birth or beginning is ever the same. Your journey matters to me, your voice matters to me.

Michelle was amazing to work with. As first time parents, she gave constant reassurance on what we were doing and provided us with helpful tools to use during pregnancy. When we finally went to the hospital (on Thanksgiving), she met us with calming energy and made the experience much better. She was constantly explaining to me what was going on and she was someone I could lean on when I didn't know what was happening/what to do. Michelle stayed by our side during the entire birth process and even when my wife had to go into surgery due to a birth complication. Michelle continues to reach out to us to check in on our baby girl.

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Michelle as our birth doula, and we can’t say enough wonderful things about her. From the moment we met her, it was clear that she is a kind, caring, and deeply compassionate person. She made us feel supported and respected every step of the way. Michelle is incredibly knowledgeable, and what we especially appreciated was her calm, non-judgmental approach. She never pressured us or pushed — instead, she provided us with thoughtful, evidence-based information so we could make the choices that felt right for us. Her presence during the birth was grounding and reassuring; we truly don’t know what we would have done without her. We were so impressed by Michelle that we also hired her for postpartum support, and we’re so glad we did. She’s amazing with babies and brings such a peaceful, nurturing energy into the home. She supported us through those early weeks with such genuine care. Michelle is a true gem — anyone would be lucky to have her as their doula.

We met Michelle later in my pregnancy journey-about 32 weeks. I knew immediately when I met her that she would be the person to help my husband and I prepare for the birth of our first child. Michelle has a very calm and nurturing energy that grounded us during the tough parts of labor and delivery. Her extensive knowledge of labor and the birth process prepared us well and I felt like I knew what to expect, without every experiencing labor before. I unfortunately had a complication during my birth and had to immediately go to the OR once my daughter was born. The thought that kept me calm was that Michelle was there to be with my husband and new baby. I could not recommend her enough and consider her to be our family's guardian angel on earth
