About Maribell

A Little About Me 💛 I'm Maribell, a proud mom of two wonderful boys, a wife of 12 years, and a passionate birth professional. I moved from Perú to the United States, beginning a beautiful new chapter in my life. During those early years, I devoted myself to raising my boys, learning English, embracing a new culture, and building a home for my family. Before moving to the United States, I trained and worked as a midwife in Perú, supporting mothers and babies in both hospitals and private practice. My passion for maternal care has remained close to my heart, and here in Central Florida, I have continued that calling as a doula, childbirth educator, and birth assistant at planned home births. Throughout my journey, I have intentionally pursued specialized certifications and training in physiologic birth, optimal fetal positioning, body mechanics, breastfeeding support, and postpartum wellness. I believe learning never ends, and my goal is to continue growing so I can offer families compassionate, knowledgeable, and evidence-informed support. With approximately 15 years of experience in maternal care, including nearly five years supporting families in Central Florida, I've learned that every pregnancy, every birth, and every family's story is beautifully unique. As both a mother and a birth professional, I understand how meaningful it is to feel heard, respected, informed, and genuinely supported during this transformative season of life. TaytaMama: Parents Preparing Together – Strengthening teamwork, confidence, and connection between expectant parents. MamaWawa: Bonding & Connection – Nurturing your connection with your baby during pregnancy. Prenatal Yoga – Gentle movement, relaxation, and body awareness to support comfort and well-being. Spinning Babies® Birth Preparation Class – Exploring balance, movement, and positioning for greater comfort during pregnancy and birth. Body Ready Method® – Preparing your body for pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery through intentional movement and body awareness. Dancing For Birth™ – Celebrating pregnancy through joyful movement, rhythm, and connection. Private & Group Sessions Enjoy personalized private sessions in the comfort of your home or join our group classes and workshops at Chaska's partner locations. All services are available in English and Spanish. Our Service Area: Based in Orlando, we proudly support expectant parents and growing families throughout Orlando and surrounding communities within approximately a one-hour driving radius. An additional travel fee applies to locations more than 30 miles away. A Note About Our Services Although Midwifery is part of our legal business name and reflects my professional background and journey, Chaska Midwifery & Wellness does not currently provide midwifery or clinical services. Our focus is on pregnancy, birth, and postpartum wellness through doula support, childbirth education, birth preparation, lactation support, and other nonclinical wellness services.
