Just to have some help. It would be nice to have an extra person around who has knowledge about childbirth and the mental health surrounding that. This is my first baby so I’m completely out of my element here. I don’t know anybody besides my boyfriend here in Salina and I stay home and take care of the house so I feel pretty isolated and although he is very helpful and supportive, it would be nice to have a woman so I can kinda lean on and learn from. I plan on an unmedicated vbac birth in Salina’s hospital, I will need to be able to use my insurance as payment, I would like it to be intermittent monitoring, no pain meds or any meds to push labor along id like to do it as naturally as possible, I want to wait till the cords completely white to clamp and cut, I would like to have my golden hour with my baby, I do not want baby cleaned off or bathed after birth. I just want a peaceful, bonding, birth.
My due date is August 19th, I know it can change depending on when the baby is ready or any issues. I will be giving birth at Stormont Vail Hospital in Junction City. I have Tricare West and was wondering how much will it cost with some coverage of what Tricare covers. My birth plan is very detail and would like to discuss over the phone or email if that's ok? My requirements for a provider is a certified and more than 1 year of experience. I have a 16 month old son
