As a mother of three, I've walked the journey of birth and parenthood with both uncertainty and empowerment. My own experiences have taught me the profound impact that supportive care and holistic approach can have on a woman's transition into motherhood. At 20, I became a mom to my daughter Ava, navigating a medicated 12-hour labor and the challenges that followed. Despite the difficulties, I was determined to grow and learn. With my second child, Maxim, I discovered the strength of my body and the power of natural birth. However, it wasn't until the birth of my third child, Natalie, that I truly embodied the transformative potential of holistic birth and parenting. Through dedicated preparation, self-care, and community support, I cultivated a profound trust in my own abilities and the natural process of birth. As a certified doula through The Matrona, I've been blessed to learn from the wisdom of Whapio and the Matrona lineage. I strive to bring the knowledge and heart-centered approach of these wise women to every birth I attend, honoring the sacredness and individuality of each family's journey. As a holistic doula, I'm devoted to creating a nurturing space for women to tap into their own strength, resilience, and intuition. I believe that every woman deserves to be seen, heard, and supported throughout her journey into motherhood. My heart is committed to guiding women in embracing their unique experiences, trusting their inner wisdom, and unfolding into the fullness of their own power.

It was so wonderful having Jessica support me through my labor and delivery. She made me feel comfortable and was so helpful offering different techniques to try to work through the contractions and pushing phase. I am so thankful to have had her help!

Greetings! I’m Neo, your doula practitioner. Like a few people in birth work, I fell into the doula journey after a horrible hospital birth experience in 2014. From the lack of respect from hospital staff to my wishes being laughed at, I knew my next experience would not be this way. After giving birth to my second child in 2017, My birth center experience then further solidified my yearning for wanting to be apart of such an empowering ritual that I refer to as an “Awakening”. A magic that can only be experienced as a birthing woman endures passage into becoming a tiny newborn’s pathway and Earth realm caregiver. I’m here to serve you on this journey - with empowering knowledge, laughs, prenatal twerk sessions, and Netflix binges. I am a PRIVATE doula service, catering to families seeking private support. I assist with both assisted and unassisted home birth, hospital births, and birth center births. I am not affiliated or partnered with any medical establishment or pharmaceutical industry as my goal is to ensure families are well-informed without needing to worry about underlying, regurgitated agendas or nosey protocols of most state-licensed practitioners.

Bella was my Doula for the birth of my Second Child & I couldn’t have been happier with the experience. She met with me often, helped me develop a solid birth plan & helped me stick to that plan. She allowed space for me to open up & helped me through a very hard birth. I would highly recommend her.

I want to introduce myself. My name is Olivia Gooden, CD(DONA)and I am the owner of Another Mother's Touch Doula Services. I became a mother 33 years ago with my first child. I remember being in that delivery room alone. Even though my mom and baby dad was on the outside in the waiting room. I was alone. I felt alone. Things happened so fast. Some of those things are still a blurry to this day. About 27 years ago, I witnessed my first child being born outside of my own two and it was amazing and since then I've witnessed or supported about 12 others and this was before I got my official doula training. It came so natural to coach, encourage, inspire these mothers through and after seeing those miracles being born over and over that I wanted to do this. Back then, at first, there wasn't a name for what I found myself loving to do. Then eventually I heard them calling it a birth coach but there wasn't anyone close by to train and certify me, which I found out as time went on that I didn't have to be certify just to support another mother. If we go back in history there were midwives and other women and mothers supporting the laboring mother but somewhere along time, we got a way from that but I wanted to be that support. As time went on I began to hear the word, Doula. Doula is a geek word that mean " woman's servant." It is also define as a trained companion who is not a healthcare professional and who supports another person through a significant health-related experience, such as childbirth, miscarriage, induced abortion or stillbirth, or non-reproductive experiences such as dying. (I don't support abortion). Types: There are a few types of doulas: birth doulas, postpartum doulas, and antepartum doulas. A birth doula provides assistance to another woman before and during labor and childbirth; a postpartum doula provides assistance to new parents after their baby is born (though some doulas offer both services). Once again there was no one close around me that had ever heard the word, doula. It began as a desire in my heart over 25 years ago. June 2020, during the pandemic I had the opportunity to go through doula training. Even though I don't have to get certified and dont have to have the training, I wanted the benefits that would come along with having both. Not only would I be a blessing to mothers and fathers but I could benefit from what the industry will be in the future. As a mother, it feels good knowing that you have the support of another mother and/or woman by your side along with any other supporting person while you are bringing a precious gift in the world while you are at your vulnerable state. November 14, 2022 i became a certified Birth Dona (CD) through DONA International. Another Mother's Touch is here to support you.One mother supporting another mother. Trained and Certified. Since I was a child I found myself in admiration of birth and babies. But after I had my own children I found myself admiring and wanting to care for pregnant and birth women. Since then my love has only grown. I love to mother the mother, answer questions, and just be an endless source of compassion and support.

I hired Maddy as my doula for my second pregnancy/delivery. She was always there for me and I always felt fully supported. My goal was to have a natural delivery without medication— but the hospital required I be induced as my tendency was to carry longer. She helped me labor comfortably with various techniques; aromatherapy, movement, hydrotherapy, etc. I was able to labor to 7 cm before I opted for the epidural, and I’m so thankful she was there to help me get to that point. She remained with me well after delivery to support me through the hemorrhage I endured. Maddy was such a blessing to us, and I will certainly use her again!

Me and my husband just had our 3rd baby, and decided it would be helpful to have a postpartum doula join us during my postpartum recovery period. Let's face it, we were officially out numbered and breastfeeding a little we had our hands full and could use a little help. Brittany was a beautiful match for our home. She has an amazingly warm energy about her and so knowledgeable in herbalism. She jumped right in to help where we needed her to, from helping with the kids, laundry, and dishes. It was so helpful in time where I am not 100% yet. She also offered a kind ear to hear my birth story and offered some good advice on how to navigate our new family dynamic. So appreciative to have met such a kind soul and highly recommend her during your postpartum journey.

Jenn supported us with the birth of our first child. From the first time we met with her, Jenn exuded confidence and was very knowledgeable, which put us at ease. As first time parents, we didn't know what the process would be like and appreciated all of her tips and best practices that she shared with us. We felt informed and equipped to make the best decisions for our family. She helped us craft a birth plan, shared relevant resources with us and communicated with us often in the weeks leading up to the birth. Jenn is very responsive, punctual and professional while being down to earth and approachable. Not only did she care for me as the birth mother, but she also ensured that my husband was supported throughout the process as well—which was very appreciated by us. Jenn went above and beyond, staying with us for awhile after our daughter was born to make sure that we were well settled in our hospital room. We love that Jenn took photos and videos of precious moments that we will cherish forever. Jenn is thoughtful and caring and shared snacks and personal stories with us for our postpartum visit. We highly recommend Jenn and would hire her again in a heart beat if the opportunity arises!

I was born & raised in Georgia. I have a husband and we have 3 kids. After having three different labor, deliver & postpartum experiences, women's health has become my passion, more & more. I love all things from pregnancy, to postpartum and can't wait to help you adjust to life in the 4th trimester. It's not always easy and I am here to help. I want my clients to know that I don't want you to clean before I come, or fix your hair. I expect that you're in cozy clothes and there may be a mess in your home. You're a new parent and it's exhausting! That's what I'm here for. :) I am currently only offering postpartum services, due to not being able to be on-call 24-7, but will be offering more services in the future.

Hi all mamas, I’m Tara and I’m certain I’m the right doula for you and your growing family. I’m a mother of three beautiful children and I’ve experienced three very different births personally: medicated with epidural, all natural, and an emergency c section. I also breastfed each child for over a year and offer lactation support postpartum. I fully understand the physical, emotional and spiritual challenges of pregnancy, childbirth and early motherhood. I believe a new version of the mother is born along with the babies. I’m here to advocate for you, to support you and your personal goals. The fear of the unknown is lesser when we know someone really has our back and I will be that person for you. I’ve been an unofficial doula and breastfeeding guru for friends and family for years. You will not have to do any of this alone. I’ll hold your hand, your legs lol and your baby.

I cannot recommend Tara highly enough as a doula. From the moment we met, her warmth and compassion were evident, and she made me feel completely at ease throughout my pregnancy, labor, and postpartum period. Tara was always available to answer my questions, no matter how trivial they seemed, and her knowledge and expertise were truly invaluable. During labor, Tara's calming presence and practical support made a significant difference. She helped me with breathing techniques, provided comforting massages, and continuously offered words of encouragement. Her ability to anticipate my needs and respond with such care was incredible. It felt like she was reading my mind at times! One moment that stands out is when I was feeling particularly overwhelmed during labor. Tara suggested a change in position and guided me through it, which made a world of difference in my comfort and progress. Her suggestions were always spot-on, and she worked seamlessly with the medical staff to ensure that my birth plan was respected. Postpartum, Tara continued to be a pillar of support. She checked in regularly, offering helpful advice on breastfeeding and newborn care, and was always there to lend an empathetic ear. Her support made the transition into motherhood much smoother, and I felt so much more confident knowing I had her by my side. Overall, Tara's dedication, professionalism, and genuine care set her apart. She truly goes above and beyond for her clients, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have had her as my doula. I highly recommend Tara to anyone looking for a supportive, knowledgeable, and compassionate doula.
