After 6 weeks, we'd like to transition to shorter but more frequent week-day overnights (midnight to 4am) and one weekend overnight (midnight to 6am) with flexibility to adjust schedule as we see what is needed. We are open to having a couple of different people fill the schedule if only a few nights a week work.

Here is a refined version tailored for a night nanny and gentle sleep training: ⸻ We are looking for an experienced night nanny or newborn/infant care specialist to help care for our 6-month-old baby during nighttime hours. We are two working parents who have not had consistent sleep in several months, so we are hoping to find someone compassionate and experienced who can help our family establish healthier sleep habits. The ideal caregiver should have significant experience with infants (at least 3–5+ years) and be knowledgeable about gentle, responsive sleep training approaches. Certification in infant CPR and first aid is required. Experience specifically with night care and infant sleep coaching would be a strong plus. Our baby is generally playful and curious but currently struggles with falling asleep and staying asleep independently, especially at bedtime and during nighttime wakings. We are looking for someone patient who can help soothe the baby, respond to nighttime wake-ups, and gradually guide her toward better sleep routines using gentle methods. Responsibilities would include: • Handling nighttime wake-ups • Helping the baby settle back to sleep • Supporting a consistent bedtime routine • Implementing gentle sleep training techniques • Bottle feeding if needed overnight • Diaper changes as required • Light baby-related tasks such as washing bottles and tidying baby sleep areas We are hoping to find someone who is calm, nurturing, and experienced with infant sleep development, and who can also guide tired parents on best practices to support the baby’s sleep. Our estimated budget is $30–$35 per hour.
