Hannah is looking for Postpartum Doula, Birth Doula
Location: Los Alamos, NM 87544, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: January 13, 2026
Hi there, My name is Hannah, and I’m currently 31 weeks pregnant and seeking a birth (+/- postpartum) doula for my upcoming TOLAC at Christus in Santa Fe with the midwives. A bit of background: my first birth in San Diego ended in a traumatic emergency c-section. This is my second, and I’m preparing for what I hope to be a redemptive VBAC with this pregnancy. I had a doula with my first and found her support invaluable. For this time around, I’m specifically looking for someone who: Is trauma-informed or trauma-sensitive. I’m very modest by nature and want support in maintaining boundaries during labor (physically and medically, with staff). I would also love someone to help guide my husband so he can best support me—especially as I’m hoping to labor without medication if possible, as I tried last time (and our doula was exceptional at helping him to help me!). I went 24 hours last time but ultimately had severe back labor and got the epidural (after which came more cascade of interventions...). Has experience with movement-based or hands-on techniques. I respond extremely well to bodywork, massage, and hands-on techniques for pain control and grounding during labor. My first baby was acynclitic and malpositioned, so I’d especially appreciate someone with Spinning Babies and/or rebozo (or other type of training to achieve optimal baby positioning). It is not a must, but would be a huge bonus. My estimated due date is January 13th. If you have availability, I’d love to learn more about your approach and services, as well as your fee structure. It seems like we could be a good match. Perhaps we could set up a short Zoom meet and greet, if able. Thank you so much for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you. Warmly, Hannah

Rachelle is looking for Postpartum Doula, Night Nanny
Location: Albuquerque, NM 87110, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: May 04, 2026
I'll be delivering two twin girls via c-section at Presbyterian downtown. My husband and I are looking for weekly overnight support with feeding (burping changing), light housecleaning as needed and mostly just lightening the night time load once a week (or twice) so that my husband and I can get a restful sleep. Our budget is flexible as we'd like this to last a couple months and will be away in Canada for 2 months over the summer but would probably continue in Sept-Dec depending on how well matched and helpful the service is. Bonus qualities would be any lactation or sleep training expertise to support us further.

Synia’s Unmediated Birth Plan My Birth Philosophy 💕 I believe birth is a natural, powerful process. I trust my body and my baby to work together. I want to avoid unnecessary interventions and create a peaceful, supportive environment for my baby’s arrival. ⸻ 💫 Labor Preferences No Epidural I plan to labor and give birth without medical pain relief so I can stay aware and connected to my body’s natural rhythm. No Pitocin / Avoid Induction I prefer my labor to begin and progress naturally, without medications to start or speed it up, unless there is a medical emergency. Move Freely I want to be able to walk, squat, or change positions during labor to stay comfortable and help labor progress naturally. Water for Comfort I’d like access to a warm shower or birthing tub, as warm water helps ease pain and relax muscles. Minimal Cervical Checks I prefer to limit vaginal exams during labor unless medically necessary, to reduce discomfort and risk of infection. Dim Lights & My Labor Playlist I would like a calm, soothing atmosphere with low lights and my music playing to help me stay relaxed. Massage / Counterpressure My partner may use massage or gentle pressure on my lower back and hips to relieve tension and pain. Birth Ball I’d like to use a birth ball to encourage proper baby positioning and comfort during contractions. ⸻ 📸 Memories & Recording Record and Photograph the Birth I would like my birth to be recorded and photographed as much as possible to capture these special moments. My care team has permission to use our phones and/or a video camera (if available) to take photos and videos of the labor, delivery, and first moments with our baby. This includes candid pictures during labor, the birth itself, and moments immediately after. ⸻ 🩺 Monitoring & Interventions Intermittent Monitoring I prefer my baby’s heartbeat to be checked periodically instead of being continuously monitored, so I can move freely. Minimal Vaginal Exams Similar to cervical checks — I’d like them limited to reduce discomfort and unnecessary interruption. No Artificial Rupture of Membranes I prefer my water (amniotic sac) to break naturally rather than being manually ruptured by staff, unless medically needed. ⸻ 🤱 Delivery Preferences No Episiotomy I prefer natural stretching and tearing over a surgical cut unless absolutely required for baby’s safety. Position Changes While Pushing I’d like to change positions (squatting, side-lying, hands-and-knees, etc.) to find what feels most effective and comfortable. Want Dad to Help Deliver Baby If possible, I’d like my partner to assist with the delivery and be an active part of catching or welcoming our baby. ⸻ 👶 After Birth Delayed Cord Clamping Please wait until the umbilical cord stops pulsing and turns white before cutting it, allowing the baby to receive extra oxygen-rich blood. Dad Cuts the Cord I want my partner to cut the cord once it’s completely white, symbolizing our baby’s smooth transition. Immediate Skin-to-Skin Place my baby directly on my chest after birth to encourage bonding, warmth, and stable breathing. Early Breastfeeding I plan to start breastfeeding as soon as possible after birth to promote bonding and milk flow. Delay Newborn Procedures I prefer to delay standard newborn procedures (like weighing) until after bonding time — or have Dad accompany baby if they must be done sooner. ⸻ 🏥 If a Cesarean Becomes Necessary Avoiding C-Section I do not want a cesarean unless it’s truly life-saving for me or my baby. Partner Present If a cesarean is required, I want my partner to remain by my side throughout. Skin-to-Skin in OR If possible, I’d like skin-to-skin contact immediately after delivery, even in the operating room. ⸻ 💕 Thank You Thank you to my care team for supporting my birth preferences and helping me bring my baby into the world safely, calmly, and naturally.

Location: Amarillo, TX 79109, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: September 14, 2026
Planning on having a hospital birth. The current birth plan is a c-section due to prior spinal surgeries the mother has had. The only people present in the hospital room will be the mother, husband, doula, doctors, and nurses pre-birth and during. We would prefer if the provider has certifications and at least 3 years of experience. We do not require any additional languages other than English. The mother is classified as advanced maternal age. Parental education and preparation would be preferred. Estimated budget is $1000 - $1600 per month in costs.
