Britt is a certified birth doula and educator. She graduated from Princeton University with a BA in Near Eastern Studies and fell in love with teaching while traveling and volunteering abroad with organizations focused on education and empowerment of women and girls in the Middle East and North Africa. She went onto pursue a career in education and a masters degree from the University of Colorado, and now brings her passion for teaching and learning to all things related to pregnancy and childbirth, with a particular interest in maternity-related equity and social justice. She believes that having an positive, empowered birth experience is not related to how or where you choose to give birth, but is dependent upon being equipped with the confidence that comes from evidence-based education and true informed consent, trust in your incredible body and your own innate abilities, and loving support from your family and birth team. She brings equal parts super-nerdy mind and super-loving heart to this work, and is honored to be serving birthing people and their families in this precious season of life.

I have always had a passion for caring for, educating, and supporting families. I began my career over 15 years ago as a pediatric nurse working in home health, the children’s hospital, and as a neonatal intensive care nurse. After years of working with moms, babies, and families, I became more and more passionate about breastfeeding and earned my IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant). Since then, I have spent years helping and empowering breastfeeding mothers and I would love to offer you comfortable support and care!

Hello there! I'm genuinely excited to share a bit about myself and why I'm so passionate about being a doula. My journey in doula work is rooted in a deep commitment to providing warm, culturally competent support. I have a special focus on being there for marginalized communities. Drawing from my own experiences and education, I've found a unique wellspring of empathy and understanding that I bring to every interaction. In addition to my commitment to inclusive and compassionate care, I am a proud Christian. My faith plays a significant role in my life, and I am thrilled to offer spiritual support to anyone who desires it during their childbirth journey. Whether it involves prayer, scripture, or simply creating a peaceful and comforting atmosphere, I am here to tailor my doula practice to align with your spiritual preferences. I'm dedicated to staying in the know, constantly educating myself on the specific needs of the communities I'm here to serve. It's not just about what I know now; it's about the continuous learning journey. Staying informed about the latest in doula care is my way of making sure I'm always offering the best support possible. I'm all about openness and zero judgment. That's my promise to you – a safe and welcoming space where your unique story is not just heard but celebrated. I truly believe that my one-of-a-kind background, perspective, and faith can make a meaningful, positive impact on the incredible individuals and communities I have the privilege of supporting during the transformative journey of childbirth. Can't wait to be a part of your journey!

As a certified birth and postpartum doula and proud mom of two, I bring both professional expertise and personal experience to the families I serve. My journey into birth work began with the transformative births of my own children, which deepened my passion for supporting others through the sacred experience of labor and delivery. I provide compassionate, evidence-based care, and believe in honoring each family's unique needs, choices, and values. Whether it’s your first birth or your fifth, my goal is to help you feel empowered, informed, and deeply supported every step of the way. “Trust your body. Trust your baby. Trust your journey.”

Jessica is truly an exceptional birth doula! From the moment we connected, I felt completely supported, seen, and empowered. She brought such a calming, grounded energy to every conversation and made me feel safe and informed every step of the way. During labor, Jessica was an absolute rock. Her presence was so steady and reassuring, she knew exactly when to step in with support and when to hold space quietly. Whether it was physical comfort measures, emotional encouragement, or just being a warm and compassionate presence, she was exactly who I needed. My birth experience was more positive and empowered because of her. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, trauma-informed, and intuitive, and you can tell how deeply she cares about the families she supports. I honestly can’t imagine going through birth without her! If you’re considering working with Jessica, do it. She’s a gift.

My favorite method to teach first time parents or parents who have any number of children is about the Dunston baby language. “The Dunstan Baby Lauange is the most fascinating phenomenon in my Opinion. “The Dunstan method explains that all babies have a universal “language,” no matter where they are born or what language their parents speak. On top of everything else you “need” to know for your baby It’s easy to learn and you will be able to meet your baby’s needs faster by understanding what they are asking for through their cries. Each baby from birth to three months will speak these 5 words. This remarkable trait will stay with them if responded to, for the first 3 months of their original due date.

Laurine was absolutely fantastic. She is extremely responsible, prompt, and very hard-working. In the short time that she helped us with our son, she helped us with her knowledge of sleep training and could not have been more loving and warm towards our newborn. She was extremely helpful in the downtime when the baby was sleeping with things that I needed help with which made my life so much easier. I would highly recommend her!

My passion for postpartum care began two years after my own postpartum journey with my twins. I know first hand that a good support system makes a true difference in your postpartum experience. While I am new to the field, it is a privilege to support families as they navigate the early weeks of parenthood. As your postpartum doula, my role is to provide emotional, practical, and informational support as you recover and adjust to life with your newborn. I am committed to creating a nurturing environment where you feel supported, confident, and empowered in your parenting journey.

Melissa was so helpful in our first two weeks post partum. I was still sore and unable to stand more than a few minutes but having her jump in to change diapers (siblings too), bed time routines, mountains of dishes and laundry made the chaos of those early weeks feel much smoother. She had knowledge of baby care and massage and her own experiences raising littles.

Hey everyone! My name is Coni and I am a Certified Birth Doula located in Polk County, Florida. I'm married and have 3 crazy kiddos. I was also a surrogate and had Belly Buddy on February 3rd, 2024. I have always been interested in birth. My mom used to teach childbirth classes at the hospital when I was little, and I always loved going with her. I got pregnant at 17 and had to deliver at a birthing center due to financial reasons. I was TERRIFIED to give birth without any medications. Long story short I did it and I felt so empowered! This is when my passion grew even stronger about birth and learning the truths behind it. I ended up having my other 2 kids at the same birthing center because I fell in love with it. I had my first hospital birth with Belly Buddy and that was a new experience that I was able to grow my knowledge in. I would love to be your Doula and help empower you. It’s amazing what you can do when you put your mind to it, are prepared mentally and physically for birth and have the right support system.

I am available to work with clients in the state of Florida virtually and in Tampa for in person therapy. I am really passionate about working with women to help them discover who they truly are before the world told them how to be. Personally, I have had to learn to cope with my own self-inflicted pressure to be the high achiever and "perfect" mother. I love helping my clients learn how to cope with the stress goes along with belief that we should be able to do and have it all. Professionally, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults and families from a variety of backgrounds and in multiple settings, including in-home therapy, office-based therapy, child welfare, residential programs, and agency management.
