Laurine was absolutely fantastic. She is extremely responsible, prompt, and very hard-working. In the short time that she helped us with our son, she helped us with her knowledge of sleep training and could not have been more loving and warm towards our newborn. She was extremely helpful in the downtime when the baby was sleeping with things that I needed help with which made my life so much easier. I would highly recommend her!

Any family would be so lucky to have Laurine support them in a time when it is most needed. She is amazing at proactively finding things to do in the home and is so comfortable with kids. She was wonderful with my baby and my toddler, they took no time at all to love being around her. I am still missing her cooking, she made wonderful, healthy things without any direction needed from me. She has a lot of knowledge to share with you about sleep habits, routines and other best practices. You will learn a lot from her! Hire her without any hesitation!!!

We hired Laurine to watch over our 2 month old daughter during nights, and she was fantastic! She was so attentive and detail oriented, and really helped our daughter achieve better sleep in the short time we hired her. She is extremely trustworthy, kind, hardworking, and I highly recommend her. Looking forward to working with her more in the future as well!

Frequently asked questions

What is sleep training?

Sleep training is the process of helping your child develop healthy sleep habits. It doesn’t mean leaving your baby to “cry it out.” Instead, it focuses on: - Consistent bedtime routines - A soothing sleep environment - Age-appropriate strategies for independent sleep - Understanding and responding to your baby’s cues The goal is to give your child the tools to fall asleep and stay asleep independently, while helping parents enjoy peaceful nights, calmer days, and more confident parenting.

When should I start sleep training?

Most babies are ready for sleep training around 3 months, once their circadian rhythm is fully developed . For younger babies, I offer newborn sleep guidance to help set healthy foundations. Families in Tampa Bay, St. Petersburg, and Clearwater can work with me in person, or I can guide you virtually anywhere in the U.S.

How do I know if my child may benefit from sleep training?

Consider sleep training if your child: - Relies on rocking, feeding, or holding to fall asleep - Frequently wakes at night - Has short or unpredictable naps - Leaves you feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or unsure how to create a routine

What services does a postpartum doula provide?

Services include baby care, meal prep, household help, emotional support, and nighttime assistance to support new parents.

How do I know if I need a postpartum doula?

If you want extra guidance, hands-on help, and reassurance while adjusting to life with a newborn, a postpartum doula is ideal.
