As your doula, I am here to support your birth journey by helping you prepare for birth, feel empowered, & serve you in way that feels the most safe + authentic to you! As a person of color with a chronic illness, I know firsthand how difficult it is to feel heard and understood by the health care system. I come into this work with an evidence based approach and align myself with anti-racist, HAES (health at every size), gender affirming & trauma informed care.

Hello I'm a previous neonatal nurse who now works in pediatric care. I miss my days being with newborns and would love to be able to help your family out. I have two boys in school and I still work as a nurse so my availability is weekdays from 9-3. As a mom I understand the need to be able to rely on your childcare provider being on time, responsible and have good communication with the parents. While I am a licensed nurse, my in-home services are provided in a non-clinical capacity. Due to licensing regulations, I am not permitted to practice as a nurse outside a hospital or approved healthcare facility. Instead, I offer support, education, and wellness services based on my experience and expertise.

Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Yael Woods, and I have had the deep honor of serving as a birth, postpartum, fertility, and bereavement doula for the past eight years. In that time, I’ve walked alongside countless families through some of the most sacred and powerful moments of their lives. My work is rooted in a fierce passion for honoring the body’s innate wisdom, supporting the full spectrum of reproductive experiences, and advocating for safer, more respectful care for all birthing people. As a current student midwife, I am continually expanding my clinical knowledge and deepening my commitment to physiological birth and evidence-based care. My mission is to reduce the alarming rates of maternal and infant mortality especially among marginalized communities by providing compassionate, culturally competent, and individualized support before, during, and after birth. Whether you are navigating fertility, preparing to give birth, healing postpartum, or grieving a loss, I am here to hold space, offer guidance, and walk with you every step of the way. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my son and partner, going to concerts, writing and hitting the beach.

I highly recommend having Jordan as your doula. Our experience with Jordan was 11/10; she was magic. Jordan makes everything easy. She listened to what my husband and I were each hoping for in our birth experience and helped us get there! We learned so much from her to truly understand all our options, to really make welcoming our little one what we wanted. We had a lot of questions and Jordan answered every question we had without fail, with both honesty and reassurance. If she didn’t already know the answer from her wealth of experience, she would find the answer and always follow up. No question was ever too big, small or silly; we always felt comfortable asking her. Jordan goes above and beyond. From arranging to stay nearby so that she wouldn’t miss a thing when our due date came to sending exercises to prep for labor to helping us postpartum, Jordan has become someone we trust wholeheartedly. We count ourselves very lucky to have her in our corner and will definitely call her if we are expecting again!

I specialize in overnight care for new families. I maintain certification as a postpartum doula, have completed training as an advanced newborn care specialist, and have worked with over 50 families in the last three years. I become a member of the family I work with and am committed to being a part of your team. I am warm, personable, and develop a sense of mutual respect with my clients. As a doula and newborn care specialist I am akin to a walking, talking baby book that is forever being updated on current trends and safety standards.

Meri is a doula extraordinaire. We slept so peacefully knowing our baby was well taken care of, loved and carefully watched all night. Meri is meticulous, communicative, thoughtful and a wealth of knowledge, especially for us first-time parents. Meri became part of our family during her weeks with us and we couldn't have survived that fragile postpartum time without her. Not only would we wake up to all the baby tasks done (perfectly), but she was a strong support system for all the postpartum changes for me as a mother. Hiring Meri was beneficial to our baby, our sleep, our marriage, my mental health and so many other aspects of our life. We already miss her dearly and highly recommend her to anyone looking for this type of care.

In a world of social media, “parenting experts” are everywhere - the information overload can be so overwhelming and paralyzing, especially as first time parents… enter Zoe. The hardest thing to embrace as a first time mum was knowing how much you don’t know, so having support, both hands on and virtually, from a postpartum doula made all the difference. Zoe’s knowledge in childcare and child development, as well as postpartum care (with a genuine emphasis on CARE) has made all the difference in our first three months as parents. Any new parents know it’s easy to feel like you’re blundering through, and just trying to survive. Zoe’s demeanor is that of, “you are the parents, you are experts in YOUR child,” as she guides us with her own expertise. She has not only helped to educate, but has given us the tools and encouragement to implement new practices for ourselves. From answers about baby sleep - both naps and nighttime, routines and schedules, lactation support, to the ever important parental care (self care IS caring for your baby, thanks for the reminder, Zoe), developmental milestones, and even playtime (how do you play with a baby? Zoe knows). She has been a delight to work with, her communication is excellent, and in a time that can be frightening and isolating, Zoe has ensured that post partum is not something we ever felt “alone” in. After working with Zoe, it is impossible to think of how different our experience would have been without her, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to have worked with her, and will hopefully get to work with her again for future children

My name is Aijanae, the visionary founder of Village to Village Doulas, a premier doula agency renowned for its holistic and compassionate approach to childbirth and postpartum care. My journey into the world of maternal support was deeply personal and transformative. My son, my baby boy Jahsiah was diagnosed with Hepatoblastoma just as I had booked my calendar for the year, I was faced the immense challenge of balancing my professional and personal life. This experience underscored the importance of having a trusted support system during life's most vulnerable moments. Leveraging my personal journey, I established Village to Village Doulas to provide unparalleled support to local Doulas and parents navigating the complexities of childbirth and early parenthood.

Recent review

I have had such a positive, stress-free postpartum experience, and that is in very large part thanks to Aijanae. I feel so lucky to have found her and her team - from the moment I first talked to her, I knew I would want her to support me and my family. She exudes calm, and she is incredibly knowledgeable, and she is very generous with her time. Aijanae supported me for the first 6 weeks with overnights, and then her team (Jazzy, Wren, and Hailey) joined to support for the following 4 weeks. I thoroughly enjoyed Aijanae's company during the middle of the night feedings and so appreciated all her advice on breastfeeding and newborn care (and appreciated her folding laundry, doing some meal prep, and cleaning pump parts). Aijanae really cares about you as a new mother and goes out of her way with texts, phone calls, and in-person conversations to make sure you feel heard and supported. My experience with Jazzy, Wren, and Hailey was also great. They are all clearly experts in what they do. And the great thing about working with an agency, like Aijanae's agency, is that if you have a longer term contract like I did and someone inevitably gets sick or can't make a shift, there is always someone else who can cover. Our 10 weeks with Aijanae and her team were a big financial commitment, but it was worth every penny. I would wholeheartedly recommend Aijanae and Village to Village to any family who wants a smoother postpartum experience.

A dedicated, capable, and broadly skilled Full Spectrum Doula. My skillset has flourished in the years I’ve spent in professional birth and postpartum care. Having supported over 300 families through pregnancy, labor and birth, and even hundreds more in postpartum, as well as a foundation of 20+ years of NCS experience, I am a seasoned Doula based here in metro Seattle / Tacoma. My competencies are built on the foundation of full-spectrum experience of pregnancy, birth and postpartum. I walk hand in hand with families through first, second, and third births as well as the many in-between variations of the experience of growing family. It is important to me to practice with a calm and clear mind, helping to build your confidence and awareness early on, helping you assert your autonomy confidently to be in charge of your experience. At the heart of my work as your doula are the values of trust, honesty, reliability and non-judgmental support. There is no one right way to become a family. My role is to help you feel sure of what is right for you.

Nori was the whole reason my birth experience went as smoothly as it did. Not only did she prepare me and my husband for what would likely occur, but she prepped us beforehand with research behind the decisions that are made during these moments. This was so unbelievably smart and helpful to discuss beforehand, so we didn’t have to make any hard decisions during labor. Nori also provided such a comfort, not only physically, but emotionally and mentally. She helped my husband learn ways to help me manage labor pains, paid attention to what sort of environment I preferred, and even took photos of us with our newborn. I can’t imagine not choosing Nori!

I want to make you feel empowered to follow your natural instincts throughout labor so you have a deep sense of pride and accomplishment when you are holding your newborn. I will support any choice you make about how you wish to labor. I believe that true empowerment is about your ability to choose what is right for your body.

Hi, I’m Elena (she/her), a certified postpartum doula! I grew up bilingual, speaking German and Italian, and developed a deep love for connection through language. Becoming a mom changed everything for me, and it revealed just how crucial support is in those early days of parenting. It inspired me to follow my true calling: nurturing new parents and helping them build a strong foundation for this incredible chapter of their lives. My approach is deeply influenced by the German tradition of Wochenbett, which emphasizes rest, recovery, and bonding in the weeks after childbirth. I strive to create a nurturing space with personalized care that fosters connection, ease, and confidence as families grow into their new roles. I bring warmth, empathy, and a calming presence to every family I support, honoring the unique needs of each household. It’s a profound honor to walk alongside parents during one of the most tender times of their lives. When I’m not supporting families, you’ll find me exploring new places with my husband and son, practicing yoga, or simply soaking in the beauty around us.
