Hello! My wife and I are looking for a postpartum doula for support in those early few weeks after I give birth (due Dec. 10) since we live far from family and other supports. Looking for a birth doula for additional support through unmedicated childbirth and possibly postpartum support and education. I’m giving birth at the Mercy Midwifery Birthing Center. I’m not sure about cost for Doula but my max would be $500 altogether. Right now I don’t have much of a birth plan aside from using laughing gas as pain management as needed. I don’t know what else I need to include or consider.
