I want to have a natural home birth, a possible water birth. So I need to feel comfortable, which means standing in different positions, music, massages, stretching ect. I need delayed cord clamping and to be able to keep my placenta. I also need help with the process of taking care of the placenta and how to have it capsuled. But I really just need someone by my side as a friend, to walk me through this and to explain my opinions.

I am giving birth in a hospital. I have a friend who is a doula, but is now moving to Portland so I am interested in finding someone else! I would love to go unmedicated if possible, but don’t want to be naive to the pain. Unsure of budget needed for a doula.
