Spouse wants to give birth at home. I dont have a budget yet since we have tricare that could help. We also dont have a plan yet.
I hope to give birth in a birth center (still looking into one), out of pocket budget for a doula and potentially chiropractor/pelvic floor specialist is ideally no more than $2-4k. Would love a certified doula who has multiple years of experience (as well as certified chiropractor and pelvic floor specialist if my budget/insurance allows), English as primary language. This is my second pregnancy and I am 20 weeks, I am late in the game to look for these specialists because I am just now deciding against a hospital birth this time around. I am 25 years old, mother to a 14 month old, and a devoted Christian (would love a Christian doula). I am not seeking any other help besides a birth doula and other physical specialists if feasible.
Hospital birth, 1k-1.5k or private insurance. Unsure if I’m going to attempt a VBAC or repeat CC I would love BF support
I plan to give birth in a hospital. I’m military but I want civilian doctors. My birth plan is that I don’t want an epidural unless I truly need it. I want it to be the last resort. I don’t mind pitocin. I want my golden hour. 30 minutes for me and 30 for dad. I don’t want a catheter unless needed. I don’t want to bathe baby until later. I want delayed cord clamping. I want to labor at home for as long as possible.
Hey there, My wife Michelle and I are looking for a birth and postpartum doula to support the birth of our first child. My wife is of Filipino descent, but was raised in Austria and I am German. We’ve been living in the US for 3 years, but don’t have any family support around so we look forward to getting some helping hands during the birth of our child. Michelle is going to be giving birth in the Swedish First Hill Hospital and is in primary care with the Swedish First Hill Midwifery. Provide your estimated budget - 2000-3000 Describe your birth plan - natural birth, no interventions if possible Describe your requirements for the provider (certification, number of years experience, second language spoken) - no strict requirements, but we are looking for someone with experience Thank you! Max

I’m planning on giving birth at home. I need a birth and postpartum doula. How I envision it is she will help me with the birth and take care of me- cook meals, clean kitchen, take care of baby for the next month after I give birth. My budget is $5000 for this entire service
I am having my fourth child. I am going to be solo-parenting 3 elementary school aged children (11, 8, and 6) while welcoming my new baby. My current children’s father is not the father of my newest addition. I plan to give a medicated birth at a hospital, Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA. As far as budget goes, I am hoping to find someone covered by my insurance. My birth plan actually needs a lot of planning still. This will be my first unsupported birth. With my previous children I had my partner, mother and usually another female family member. It has been over 6 years since my last birth and I’m open to trying new things like birthing baths and alternative pushing positions. My births have always been short (4-6 hours from start to final push.) I never had any complications after birth or during but did need an iron transfusion before my third child was born, I went into labor the night after receiving the transfusion. I need a lot of guidance and support and will be struggling with anxiety during this pregnancy and birth.
1. I plan on giving birth in Overlake medical center in Bellevue 2. Up to negotiation 3. Vaginal is preferred, I want a lesser dosage of epidural so I can give birth on my 4s while leaning on a pillow. Cord clamping wait till it stops pulsating and is white.
