Hello, my name is Amanda Hercules, I am a certified international pediatric sleep coach. I am also a foster parent here in the state of Washington. I have been working in childcare since I was 18. As a nanny, a household manager, a nanny share, and a tutor. I have a lot of experience with multiples and with multiple children in the house. In 2019 I got certified as a postpartum doula and began working with local families in their postpartum stage. I was primarily a night doula, and this paired with my years-long work in childcare I learned a lot about sleep. In 2024 I was certified an international pediatric sleep coach, and I am excited to help families on this journey. I am here to provide you with facts and support. I will never judge or pressure you to do anything. I like to lay all the options out with parents and together choose a method or combination of methods that works for your family! Please reach out to me with any questions you might have. AmandaHercules.com

Hi, I’m Elena (she/her), a certified postpartum doula! I grew up bilingual, speaking German and Italian, and developed a deep love for connection through language. Becoming a mom changed everything for me, and it revealed just how crucial support is in those early days of parenting. It inspired me to follow my true calling: nurturing new parents and helping them build a strong foundation for this incredible chapter of their lives. My approach is deeply influenced by the German tradition of Wochenbett, which emphasizes rest, recovery, and bonding in the weeks after childbirth. I strive to create a nurturing space with personalized care that fosters connection, ease, and confidence as families grow into their new roles. I bring warmth, empathy, and a calming presence to every family I support, honoring the unique needs of each household. It’s a profound honor to walk alongside parents during one of the most tender times of their lives. When I’m not supporting families, you’ll find me exploring new places with my husband and son, practicing yoga, or simply soaking in the beauty around us.

My husband, of over 30 years, and I have three grown children. We are super excited to be living in Kitsap Co. again after being away for most of our married lives. As a certified Doula, postpartum doula and Childbirth Educator I enjoy all aspects of the birth process, providing kind, experienced support before, during and after labor. Your birth should be a beautiful, empowering experience in the environment of your choice. I will be by your side to support your choices, give physical, emotional, and informational support as well as advocate for you during decision making. Please consider me as part of your support team as you navigate this important time in your life.

If I could give a rating higher than five stars, I would! Jocelyn was able to take over and advocate for me when I was unable to do it myself, and when my partner and I were unsure of what decisions to make before and during the delivery process. She was there for us from the early stages of labor to when our baby was in my arms for the first time. She is both knowledgeable and creative in her methods and had answers to all our questions. She far exceeded the expectations we had and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for doula services.

Hello, my name is Sharlene, a postpartum doula and a naturopathic medical student with a deep passion for supporting new families. My journey into birth work began when I was a senior in high school who had the opportunity to do my rotations at a hospital in Texas. Little did I know at that time that it was passion that had been born from that experience— it planted the seed for my future. Moving to Washington to study at Bastyr was a leap towards making my dreams a reality. Becoming a doula was another beautiful discovery, introduced to me by a professor who not only taught me, but also helped me heal in ways I never expected. Now, as a postpartum doula, I am honored to walk alongside new parents, providing the care, support, and reassurance they need during such a transformative time. I can’t wait to continue growing in this field and, one day, serve my community as a midwife and a prenatal ND, providing holistic care throughout pregnancy, birth, and beyond.

Amber has been nannying for us for almost a year now, and she is incredible! She's obviously amazing with the kids, but she also is professional, patient, intuitive, compassionate, and highly experienced. She had an easy time integrating into our household and assisting us with a variety of needs during a complex time in our lives. She takes initiative and is incredibly clear about boundaries and expectations, and effortlessly communicative and easy to talk to. She's the kind of nanny you hire for life: she strives to meet your needs and get to know your family on a level far beyond simple childcare.
