About me

I am a seasoned home birth midwife working in the greater Lexington area. I believe birth is a natural process that occurs best when folks are encouraged to be in their own space and labor surrounded by supportive helpers. Our team focus on individualized care for each family. I am also a Dancing for Birth instructor, Happiest Baby on the Block provider, Spinning Babies aware provider, Breech without Borders trained provider. I offer free consultations on zoom or in our Lexington or Berea office. W have pool rentals for our clients and offer placenta encapsulation and child birth education.

I offer prenatal, birth and postpartum services for those birthing at home. I also offer prenatal and postpartum services for those birthing in hospital setting. We have a sliding scale discount for those who qualify. I also have Dancing for Birth classes in the Berea office.

I knew right away that Tress was going to be our midwife after having her at my previous birth when she was still a student midwife. She's easy to get along with, explains any medical care she provides and why it's important. She fully trusted me to be able to birth my baby and gave me the space to do so. She was always calm and easy going.

Tress is honestly magical. From the moment we decided on a home birth, she was there for me every step of the way. Her care was so thoughtful, attentive, and full of heart—I felt completely supported the entire time. She has this amazing way of making you feel calm and confident, even when I went all the way to 42 weeks. I truly had the best pregnancy and birth experience I could have imagined, and my daughter was born safely at home with Tress by my side.
