Congratulations to you on your pregnancy! What an exciting time. As a birth and postpartum doula, I offer flexible, compassionate, judgement-free doula care for families in the Western Mass, Berkshires, Southern VT and Southern NH regions. My practice is grounded in the belief that birth can be joyful and empowering with the right support and understanding. Birth can also inspire a deep, loving connection between birther, partner, and baby. Your birth experience is as unique and special as your growing family, and as your doula, I will listen and adapt throughout the birthing journey. I provide the emotional, physical, and educational support to help guide you and your birth team every step of the way. My own birth experience inspired me to become certified as a birth doula in 2018. I have since become a certified birth hypnosis doula through Hypnobabies® and also am the only certified Spinning Babies® Parent Educator in the Western Mass region. With a background in K–12 education and social justice, I’m deeply committed to supporting birthers and families from all backgrounds, cultures, genders, and identities with a caring, collaborative approach. I approach every birth as a special experience and will listen to and adapt to your needs.

Angela was such a huge support for me and my partner through out my birth and after. She never made me feel judged, always reminded me I was doing a great job, and gave me the calm I needed when things felt scary and overwhelming. Having her by my side made the whole experience feel a little less scary and so much more empowering. I can’t recommend her enough!

My name is Kayla Brookins, and I'm a birth and postpartum doula and peer lactation counselor. I have been studying and preparing for birth work since 2017, and I feel deeply called to this work! I'm a deep believer in physiologic birth, that nobody knows better than you how to birth your baby. My role as your doula is to help you tap into that place of deepest knowing so that you enter your birthplace feeling completely empowered and move into the postpartum period prepared for rest and trusting your ability to parent.

I am a L&D and mother/baby nurse (LDRP) with 10+ years experience who wanted care for clients outside of the hospital after seeing the need in my local area. I have been doing postpartum doula work since January 2024, and have started taking on childbirth ed and labor clients as well. I also have a team of other birth center nurses who assist with postpartum care as well. I believe in a healthy relationship with the medical providers, while also advocating for your specific wants and needs. For labor, my experience has been as an RN for 10+ years with both high risk pregnancies, low risk, every intervention known to man, and as natural as Mother Nature made it. I’m certified in inpatient obstetrics and fetal monitoring (RNC-OB, C-EFM).

Hello! I’m a doula, massage therapist and acupuncturist going back 27 years, deeply passionate about supporting people throughout pregnancy and the childbirth experience. I developed a curriculum to teach doulas and expectant parents in Comforting Touch practices for birth, so they can feel confident offering touch to as a comfort measure to birthing people. I also offer a Comforting Touch for Babies class to extend the gift of touch to the little ones as well! If you need any support in this chapter of life, consider me a resource for hands-on support if you’re local to the NYC/Hudson Valley area, or a variety of virtual offerings wherever you are.
