I believe my 1 month old daughter, Noelle, has a shallow latch. She clicks when she nurses, leaks a little milk from the corners of her mouth, and my nipple comes out in a lipstick shape.
Just had baby, new mom/baby latch and feeding help. Baby not latching well yet.
Help with baby’s latch and covered by my Medicaid insurance
I need help latching my daughter to nurse as she has a shallow latch.
Experience and who respect our decisions. Duties of cooking, taking care of the baby at night.
My daughter just turned 1 and isnt not transitioning well to milk from formula. When i went back to work I quit breastfeeding. But Im looking to start a relactation journey to give her breast milk back.
Help with latch & bottle feeding. My baby had a lip tie that was cut and i’m seeing no improvements on her latch. I can’t get her to get a deep latch and she’s sucking in tons of air causing her extreme gas and fussiness. She chews on breast and bottle rather than sucking choke, gulps and clicks and she falls asleep before getting a full feed in. We have superior insurance but if i have to pay out of pocket $100 is our budget.
Giving birth in a hospital with my first baby, seeking support in those first initial months, would like something that works with my insurance
I plan to have a home birth. I’m currently considering a birth team, including a doula. I had intended on it being only myself and my husband present however, I don’t want to put 100% of the responsibility of my needs onto him. I intend to free birth with a lotus birth. I am not open to speaking with anyone that doesn’t understand and support that. I am looking for someone who can hold space, who is in tune with their energy, and emotionally support myself and my husband. I intend to exclusively breastfeed. I will be a first time mom. I am 37. I do not Intend on having any medical interventions. I will not need help with my baby but am open to lactation classes. I intend to continue self educating with free-birthing classes and hypno-birthing classes. Aside from emotional support I am also looking for someone who can cook and understands dietary needs for breastfeeding mothers. Currently in research mode at 12 week. No set budget. I’m looking for value.
Baby is not latching and crying when trying to feed
I started out exclusively pumping due to my child having to be in the NICU for the first month of his life. Over time, I grew exhausted of pumping and discouraged even after bringing him. I felt that I wasn't supplying enough and could not keep up with his growth. It's been over two weeks since I last pumped. I would start back pumping to get to the point of breastfeeding. I would like to work on latching and increasing my milk supply. I would like complete support to maintain stress levels. I would prefer someone of an African American background, but I am open to someone with 2+ years of experience and culturally competent.
