What to expect

Home visits in Queens and Brooklyn, plus virtual visits, from a NICU nurse practitioner and IBCLC. Support for NICU and preemie feeding, babies coming home from the NICU, medically complex feeding, prenatal breastfeeding education, latch and nipple pain, milk supply, and pumping/back-to-work planning. Insurance visits are available for families registered through The Lactation Network or Wildflower Health (Wildflower covers Cigna and Anthem members). Please check your coverage first at firstembracelactation.com — many families pay $0 out of pocket. Home visits for Lactation Network families are in Queens; virtual visits are available anywhere. If you book privately, I can give you a superbill to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
