Hello, I am seeking a birth doula who provides holistic, nurturing, and empowering support throughout pregnancy, labor, and the postpartum period. While I deeply desired a home birth, I understand that may not be possible for me, and I am looking for someone who can help me create a calm, natural, spiritual, and intentional birth experience in whatever setting I deliver. I value emotional presence, grounding energy, and continuous labor support. I would like guidance with comfort measures, breathing techniques, advocacy, and informed decision-making so that I feel confident and supported throughout the process. It is important to me that my birth space feels safe, peaceful, and empowering. Postpartum care is equally important to me. I am looking for check-ins, recovery support, and gentle guidance as I transition into motherhood. Lactation education and hands-on breastfeeding support are a priority, as I would like to feel confident and well-informed in nourishing my baby. Overall, I am seeking a doula who honors both the physical and emotional aspects of birth and who can help me feel centered, supported, and empowered during this transformative time.

This will be my second birth and my goal this time around is for a much more natural & holistic birth experience. I hope to have a spontaneous, low intervention, physiological birth and am looking for a doula to stand by me & my husband to advocate alongside us during delivery. I’d like to give birth naturally. I’m not really sure whether I want to go to a hospital or not. I want my child unvaccinated. I don’t even know what a doula cost, but I’m open to spending what I have to. I’m 42 and had two c-sections 15 & 20 years ago. I’d like to try for a vbac. I’m now in better health than I have been in since high school. I’d like someone who is a follower of Jesus Christ.
Finding a doula for my labor and delivery at St. E’s I plan on laboring at home as long as humanely possible before going to the hospital. Planning for a physiological birth. Possibly looking into postpartum help for a few hours after delivery as well.
I will be delivering at Fairview Hospital in Lakewood. My budget is that it will hopefully be covered by Molina Medicaid. I will most likely be induced at 37 weeks because baby is on the smaller side and they want him out to help him. Hopefully a natural and not c section birth.
Hospital birth. Focus on the birth plan at the hospital as much as possible
I would like a doula that will be my advocate during the birthing process and help me with a natural unmedicated birth by positions, exercises, and breathing techniques. Also looking for a doula who is well trained in lactation to help support me and my baby with breastfeeding for the first time. I plan to give birth at SummaHealth hospital in Akron. I am still currently working on my birth plan so I could use help on that aspect as well, but I know I want to have an unmedicated natural birth. I am open to my budget but would like to keep it under $3,000. If possible I would like to use my insurance, if they accept doulas.

I am 12 weeks and have attended 1 prenatal doctor's appointment, but am interested in prenatal care with a midwife instead, if possible. Would like guidance and education, as this is my first baby. Considering a doula, too. We don't have a set budget at this time.
