Starting at a young age, I had a passion for children and babies. When I was younger, I wanted to be a pediatrician and a mom. I followed down the medical pathway as a CNA in an Intensive Care Unit and I was able to care for a lot of people in very vulnerable moments. Through this I experienced a lot of last moments with people. After becoming pregnant in 2022 and having my son, I realized that I have a passion for assisting women through pregnancy and ultimately through labor and delivery. I decided that I was ready to take this step and turn this passion into an opportunity to serve others in the most beautiful and natural journey that we as women get to encounter. My mission as your birth doula is to support you through your natural journey from pregnancy through childbirth and into motherhood. I take a holistic approach when assisting you with reaching your goals and aim to empower you in making conscious decisions surrounding your birth. I believe that you are in total control of your decisions and support your ability to trust your intuition on what is right for you and your baby. Your body will NOT grow a baby you can't birth.

Bridgette is absolutely amazing! She is so passionate, nurturing, caring, and honestly so fun! She brings an unexpected edgy charm with her and it usually comes out at all the best moments. She will educated, guide, nurture and support you like no other doula will. 100% would hire her for my next birth, but I am moving.

Hello! I'm Erin, The British Doula. I am a DONA International™ certified birth doula living in Roslindale, MA and practicing in the Greater Boston Area. To any pregnant woman reading this, I’d like to start off saying a huge congratulations! And thank you for considering me to join your support team. I'm originally from London, England, and I first became interested in birth work when I moved to the U.S. 8 years ago — I was so surprised at how different the cultural interpretations of birth are here compared to the U.K. About 4 years ago, I started reading and learning more about the different experiences of birth around the world, and I have never looked back!

Recent review

Erin is phenomenal--we would 100% recommend her! She is very knowledgeable, calm and highly supportive. She did an excellent job answering our questions and providing resources. We greatly appreciated her presence, support and advocacy at the hospital. My wife and I were very fortunate to have her as our doula.

I know how lonely and tiring the postpartum journey can be, and that’s what I am here for! I’d love to be your extra support. My goal is to actively listen to your needs and wants, and to create a healthy sleep schedule for your baby and you. Rest is very important in the fourth trimester. Hi! I would love to be part of your newborn healing process. As a mom and nurse, I know how challenging those first few days coming home from the hospital and having to figure it all out feels like especially while sleep deprived. I hope to help make the process even slightly more easier. Ideally looking to help out 1-2 nights over the weekend.

As an indigenous person working as a lactation counselor, childbirth educator, birth doula and postpartum doula I offer unique opportunities to integrate traditional practices with contemporary support. In this experience, the doula role extends beyond the physical recovery and infant care; it requires cultural humility , respect for ancestral knowledge and recognition of the community’s values. This experience highlights that postpartum care is not one-size-fits-all model. The doula’s presence becomes a bridge between worlds-supporting modern postpartum practices while safeguarding cultural continuity. In conclusion, working with an indigenous doula ;has given me the responsibility to practice the cultural humility of my heritage, honor my traditional knowledge and provide holistic care. Such experiences that demonstrate support is most effective when it respects identity, empowers families and nurtures both body and spirit!
