Hello! I'm Erin, The British Doula. I am a DONA International™ certified birth doula living in Roslindale, MA and practicing in the Greater Boston Area. To any pregnant woman reading this, I’d like to start off saying a huge congratulations! And thank you for considering me to join your support team. I'm originally from London, England, and I first became interested in birth work when I moved to the U.S. 8 years ago — I was so surprised at how different the cultural interpretations of birth are here compared to the U.K. About 4 years ago, I started reading and learning more about the different experiences of birth around the world, and I have never looked back!

Birth Doula packages and pricing

Birth Doula Support

- 2 x 90 minute Prenatal Preparation Sessions, in-person or virtual - Unlimited text support throughout your pregnancy - Birth Plan writing support and editing, if desired - On-call phone support from 37 weeks onward - In-person support throughout active labor, birth, and 2 hours immediately after your birth - A 90 minute in-home Postpartum Session, with breastfeeding support if desired - Referrals to my wide network of holistic support services, specialists, and postpartum doulas - Add-ons: Up to 2 additional 1 hour pre-natal or postpartum visits, at a rate of $50 per session

Prenatal Preparation

- 2 x 90 minute Prenatal Preparation sessions, in-home or virtual - Birth Plan writing support and editing, if desired - Text support within business hours - Referrals to my wide network of holistic support services, specialists, and postpartum doulas

Erin is phenomenal--we would 100% recommend her! She is very knowledgeable, calm and highly supportive. She did an excellent job answering our questions and providing resources. We greatly appreciated her presence, support and advocacy at the hospital. My wife and I were very fortunate to have her as our doula.

You are lucky if you can get Erin as your doula. She is very knowledgeable and supportive to whatever wishes you have for your birth. You can tell that she is extremely passionate about making women's birth a positive experience. She goes above and beyond to support the whole family. I had Erin for my third birth. I appreciated all the information she shared with me and my husband during pregnancy, especially the exercises to help my body prepare for birth and the techniques to help me deal with contractions (which did help me during birth). She helped us write the birthpan, shared resources and evidence based practices with us, and was always happy to help answer our questions. Erin will teach you how to effectively advocate for yourself and your baby, and she will also help advocate for you in the hospital when you may not be able to do so yourself. It gave us peace of mind to have a trusted and knowledgeable person with us during birth and I highly recommend Erin to anyone looking for that support.
